franken 253 you say? where will you source those parts!??? a 212 is one thing.. but a limited edition watch... another beast entirely... The hands are possible if you can find some gen 212 hands.. Offshore and I are trying to organize a run for sapphire crystals. He has contacts in China that could probably produce the crystals for us. We won't know anything for sure till after Chinese New Year is over. This project could prove very popular especially since the 253 and 212 have ALWAYS needed sapphire to be complete. Does anyone have an extra mineral crystal they'd be willing to loan so that the company could make us exact copies in Sapphire? The minimum order for sapphire is 20 units... if we can get 20 people interested.. that'd be great. maybe we could also organize something with cheif so that the crystals get shipped directly to him for treatment after their fabrication....? Any thoughts? Obviously interest would depend on price.. but I'm we'll have a ballpark figure soon... hopefully not to expensive.. if it's $100 or less. i'd be very interested personally... edited:

Can't wait to compare it to a real watch. He matched the paint using that photo i printed out for him. The photo was horrible and my printer sucks. I think Francisco managed to get the right "REAL" color of the paint. He didn't use exact measurements i'm positive. I saw a pic of the pain mixing and it was a brilliant blue with some white. I'll try to find out the specifics though. @osrep. Thannks! I'll be sure to take some pics (I'll have to use a friend's camera since mine is broken.. but it will get done!)

That whole bezel 10 issue is a real kick in the cojones... I would have never noticed it if someone hadnt called it out here.. NOW it sticks out like a sore thumb to everyone! what a difference a millimeter makes...

Hey there, Not sure that the watches you'll see will be VN made.. most [censored] comes from china over there anyways. My wife and took our honeymoon over in cambodia.. I posted a few pics a while back per a request by Tee-Jay. You'll love the food if you like curry, and spicy flavors. If you have a chance to get to cambodia, seeing the temples in Angkor is definitely worth it! If you get to cambodia.. try the FRIED SPIDER.. it's delicious :-) my previous thread with some pics.

So my 253 has been with Francisco for a a week or so now.. and He's just sent me a picture of what to expect when i get it back.. I have to say.. i think he nailed it!
