You found a new watch laying on the ground!?? you should probably take that off of ebay and verify it here on the board to make sure it is indeed genuine. If it turns out to be gen then go ahead and sell it on the bay but i would use this forum as a place to get opinions on its authenticity. It is against ebay policy to allow auctions of counterfeit items (fake). Sorry to bust your bubble saber.. A better place to sell that would be here on the board.. there's no problem selling it here if its a rep. But ebay is probably not the place(if you have no authenticity papers or receipt).

Haven't heard a lot of talk on here about this particular model but Andrew told me that it will soon be coming out.. also available with steel bracelet: Not my cup of tea at all.. but maybe some of you chunky lovers will get a kick out of it! (then again who knows.. my taste may change!)

Ya know the blue plastic wrap that covers are watches like a plague infested tree when we get our reps and you need almost a blow torch to get it off....? I wanna do some polisihing on my polished/brushed yachtie and want to target the areas so i don't end up polishing any parts of the brushed steel.. any ideas. the blue plast crud is the only thing i can think of that would possibly function. I've tried various tapes for creating outlines.. abut it always tends to come up while using capecod...

Send it off to VAC or another modder.. nothing that can't be fixed. I know it sounds like your watch is done.. but most of those problems have a simple fix. Your movement probably needs a service first and foremost.. (which will take care of your crown tube issue probably as well). Then you'll need your crystal pressed properly and your gaskets and seals checked. Then it should be good as new. Francisco is doing 3 watches here in spain that i have. He's generally very reasonable and he generally won't charge over 65euros for a full service. .. although it always depends on what you want done and if any replacement is necessary.. If you were in europe i'm sure he could fix it no problem

My sosf asian I had for 2 years and it was still in perfect condition the day i sold it 2 months ago. But then again, I didn't wear the watch aas often as you wore your sub, but I still clean and wipe my watches at least once or twice a week. With good care the watch can last forever. Have you ever had your watch serviced? What movement do you have? If the crystal fell out that sounds kinda strange. Did you simply pop the crystal back in yourself using hands? A crystal press would be needed to seat it perfectly and securely to the case again.

Sorry to bring this back to life.. but I had to comment... this strap is pretty incredible.. never seen one like it before in my life... I really like it although i could never pull it off. possibly custom... No idea where one can be found whooper. (if you read this). Try emailing or calling chopard to see if it's something they make. better yet go to a chopard store. they would surely know. otherwise.. i don't think any dealers have this strap

Obviously we already know that the guy in the AD DID NOT KNOW it was a rep. people in AD's often have no idea about the quality of reps. They're often just hired help. Now specialty and vintage shops are another story. Those guys have to be on point, because their business is buying and selling exclusive models working with new, used and vintage models..
