  1. you honestly think i can keep up with you Lani!?? I spend about 25 minutes per day here.. I can't catch everything!!! haha nice review though!! well... ok... maybe i'm on here more than 25minutes/day but i mean.. I swear you're one of those online bots....
  2. looking forward to that... never a dull moment with Lani on the board
  3. Would it be out of place for me to say.. "let's put some shrimp on the barbie!"... ok.. sorry but I just watched dumb and dumber 3 days ago!
  4. Great looking watch. But not a dress watch (as most others have stated). The hamilton looks to be a Pilot inspired watch. And thus, I would never call it a dress watch. Any of the Glashuttes or Patek Phillipes fit into the dress watch category for me! I'm not a big fan of "dress" watches though.
  5. Mistook pessimism for the matter-of-fact tone I perceived in your original post. But I can't deny that i've been lucky. The longest a watch has taken to arrive to me has been 17 days. My last watch having arrived in only 5! (have 2 arriving today!) yippeeeee
  6. I'm confused.. after all his posting here.. he bought a Bulova for 75usd? What about all his PO questions? Why is he even saying goodbye? Who is this guy?
  7. "I'm gonna give you to the count of ten to get your ugly, yellow, no good keister off my property before i pump your guts full of lead... 1...2.. 10!.. hahahahahahahahahah"
  8. Looks beautiful Hambone.. Guess you don't have views like that in Vegas... At least not natural ones...
  9. No worries Jkay. Posting since 1993 eh?? wow. Internet pioneer! I noticed your anniversary after checking out your profile. The pleasure is mine. You're right about chris i think though. He's mentioned in several posts before that he's in "china working with his team" etc. True, the dealers are smaller operations.. at least most of them. I was thinking that you meant our watches were made in small shops. Josh and Andrew seem to be the largest volume dealers and you never know who you're talking to when you email though, especially since they tend to answer all their emails within minutes. I have no idea what has happened to Jay at Silix-prime.. he used to be one of my favs and i haven't used him in over a year because he won't respond to emails I have about pieces i'm interested in. Narikaa is also a smaller operation. King, PT, mickey, Angus, Mark and watchwoot seem like they're also smaller? Anyone have any idea what kind of facilities most of our dealers are working out of? It'd be interesting to see a tour of the "office" from where their business is established!
  10. beautiful. Wear it like it's worthy
  11. The only thing I shave with.. Much closer shave, and since i style trim my beard and mustache, this is the most precise cut you can get. I can cut single hairs on my face with this and not. Great for large areas or the most finite beard work.
  12. Happy 5 month anniversary Jkay! Another 2 years and you'll be up there with lani at the rate you post! On another note, when you say "mom n pop" business in back offices in china.. you mean the average mom n pop shop that has over 100 watch-makers and can churn out 10,000 watches/month??? The factories our watches come from are anything but back office mom n pop shops.
  13. Have I missed something.... Teejay.. Do you live in Spain as well? I'm a huge Mercadona fan.. but have never bought their deodorant.. If you're in spain we should meet for some beers one day. I'm in madrid.
  14. Hey moggy, [edit]Don't sweat it. It's actually a good thing that Jkay's not setting you up for disappointment. His post might sound pessimistic, but if you keep in the back of your mind that it will take a month, it'll be a pleasant surprise for you if it arrives beforehand! Personally speaking, it's never taken me a month for a watch.. Several months ago I happened to get my Blacksteel from Angus in a record 5 days from the time of ordering. But then again, there's plenty of people that have waited a month or even longer for their beloved piece. The best thing you can do is try to preoccupy yourself while it's in the mail.. and then post really great pictures once you get it! Enjoy!
  15. Me.. (haha)
  16. cartilage
  17. don't have one yet, but i've definitely considered it. For me it seems that eurotimez has gotten the most attention.. although not all of it being good attention. I`d buy from eurotimez, but that`s just me
  18. That is truly the funniest thing ever to happen to a missing watch... Be thankful it wasn`t swallowed.. "woof woof tick tick". Reminds me of one of my favorite movies....
  19. forgive me for just seeing this.. but that is what i call pure sexiness... I never realized the needles were a different colors than the inner bezel markings.... Ignorance truly is bliss! Now because of lani I`ll always look down and notice the color difference.. and it will bug the hell out of me.. but unlike lani.. i`ll be bugged forever because i never mod anything!
  20. sweet post mike. Whether it
  21. How did my watch get posted on here without my consent!?? haha. That is probably the best looking pilot i`ve ever seen. I was on the fence a few months ago between my Skyland Blacksteel and the 44mm Top Gun.. very happy i got the skyland.. but if it had been between the Skyland Blacksteel and this beast.. i would`ve gone IWC!!! Sure this won`t ever come out as a replica. :-(
  22. Coolest= U1 Most Flexible= Speedy date Most wrist compliments= Planet Ocean orange The chronos are very good now. The spacing is almost perfect, but someone demonstrated here with pics that it
  23. i´m confused as well. It sounds by the way you wrote your post that you havent heard anything from him since... TODAY..? p.s. Whatever the case, i`ve never bought from Narikaa, but good luck with everything!
