  1. Hey guys! Are the 177m and 177L the same watch, with only different serial numbers? Before I went underground a few months ago, the 177L was the latest. then I come back a couple weeks ago and all i see is 177M. Is this the same watch?? If not, what are the differences and/or improvements that have happened in the 177m that weren't present in the 177L? Thanks in advance experts! -Fender
  2. Great to have you here. Don't be a stranger. Post some pics and share the love brother!
  3. caseback wrench die for this watch is expensive.. orb ball is 4 bucks on ebay granted.. if it's REALLY on tight... the casebackk die is the most adequate option
  4. The alamo!!!!! haha.. touché Pete. I'm not jealous! just envious!! haha.. Sorry Rob if I came across as an ass... It's my time of the month
  5. The 40mm pams are not well replicated.. and probably won't be until more demand is expressed through these forums. There are a few 40mm pams repped.. but you'd have to ask an expert about which models they are.
  6. I think it's funny that he's even comparing A. Langhe & Sohne to a watch company like Panerai. A. Langhe specializes in handmade, dress watches... starting at twenty or thirty thousand dollars... going up nearly a million dollars... It's like comparing a BMW Z4 to a Rolls Royce... Not the same thing at all.. not the same category, and not used for the same activity!
  7. HORB ball!! works every time
  8. ahhhh ceramic!! really nice!
  9. Both are workhorse movements. Not sure about the difference in mechanics, but I have a swiss ETA-2892 in my Rolesium and it runs like "clockwork". I have 3 ETA-2836-2 watches.. and all of them run spectacularly. If the case and dial is the same.... i guess it doesn't really matter which one you get
  10. niceeeee The finish of the strap goes perfectly with the pvd. (Not DLC right?). amazing watch.. I've always wanted a Rady!
  11. with no pics.. No envy is created.. hence... less propensity to come next year!! pics pics pics!
  12. update:... back to platinum
  13. I approve of everything except the 3131 movement upgrade in your Milgauss.. It's a clone movement.. You should have stuck with a GEN ETA 2836.. Not a lot of good experiences on the forum with those clone 3131s and 3135s
  14. DO NOT USE DEALERS that aren't on the forum. Two things wrong here: 1. The price.. this is a RIDICULOUS PRICE for any rolex rep (unless it's a wm9 modified rollie) 2. The 3135 movement is Shyte.. It's a clone movement, and not swiss.. They are clearly lying in their description trying to make you think that it's an actual rolex movement. It's a complete copycat movement with normally faulty parts. No good reason to get a sub with an asian 3135 when you can get it with an ETA-2824 or ETA-2836 Genuine swiss movement Conclusion: Stay away from this dealer.... plenty of dealers on the forum sell this watch for less
  15. Sorry to hear that happened! Glad to hear it got resolved!
  16. Great to hear you got it worked out.. Now learn the model of your watch! It's a 111 M-SERIES! With panerai.. the model number always goes before the serial letter!
  17. one of the only faults to the Chronopassion. If it wasn't bead blasted you could just take a refinishing pad to it
  18. Ok... for all you Newer members that have just recently posted asking for a review... considered kind of bad etiquette... If you knew how much hard work went into a review.. (SEVERAL HOURS) post like.. "yes.. please do an update review" would make your skin crawl... On top of that.. why not start a new post on the topic asking about the new version.. Or better yet do some research.. there's quite a few post out there.. Simple use of the search button will render results. From what I understand it's exactly the same except for an updated dial logo.
  19. Theo... you really don't impress me. Hahaha.. Just kidding! great job bro.. The resident AP master is always flexing the brain muscle for the sake of others
  20. Welcome nass! Post some pics of your watches! we love eye candy
  21. Rob.. did you have the same username back in 2007?? The problem with the posts being gone is a general one. There was a server fire about 7 or 8 months back.. Lots of posts were lost and some system glitches appeared as a result. I can't access alot of my original posts from when I joined.. although my post account is correct.
