  1. Nice! double ar.. is quite yellow... but looks makes the ringlock and dial really stand out! nice
  2. don't forget to take pics and show us your new beauties once you get them!
  3. which rattrapante are you talking about? You DO know tha tther's no rep that produces a real flyback fuction and certainly not a rattrapante function....
  4. Congrats partner! I just got married in August.. Hope all it goes well! i imagine we're not gonna be seeing much of you till after the honeymoon right! live it up and enjoy your wife! Big shout out from spain!
  5. post pics... we need to see it in order to evaluate it!
  6. The strap is from strappedfortime.com.... Was 29usd.. i paid 39 or 50usd total if you include shipping... I love the strap, but it took an arm and a leg to get on there!
  7. I feel like the watch has been born again!
  8. ohhh! good. I'm glad silix was able to get it corrected for you... the only thing that sucks is the damn turn around time.. but in the end it will prove to be worth it!
  9. Thanks guys... glad you like it it's on the wrist today!
  10. That's ridiculous. If they have the equipment it's a test that takes less than 5 minutes... They just put it in vacuum basically to see if it's keeps pressure. It shouldn't be that much just to get it tested.. Maybe the price he gave you was for a full movement servicing with testing included?????
  11. Thanks Rep, I don't think that'll be necessary at this piont, but I'm going to keep you guys informed! @ slan93/Cchrono: Great! Consider yourselves added to the official "interested list": So far: 1. Plaifender 2. petem (2) 3. BigE 4. Chudd 5. Paulw 6. Repwatch 7. Bosk 8. Nakortheblue 9. Rickhic 10. 12. Any chunky polars out there?
  13. So you're gonna keep the crappy one because it's for a friend? I'd give the friend the asian one... and send the swiss baack for the corrected version.....
  14. Wouldn't submerse it at all unless you have it pressure tested. I'm also sure that no amount of normal work to that watch will ever allow it to survive 1000m! The genuine yes.. the rep... NO
  15. The other dealers section is still on the forum......
  16. The best version is def the V2. The v1 doesn't have the right color. Don't go buy the photos from that website. Do a search on here and compare the V1 to the V2. The cheaper version you see doesn't have the same diamond-like-carbon treatment on the metal.. it's just s simple powder coat that can scratch much easier. Not worth it to buy in my opinion.. My v2 is indestrucatable. Do a search and compare some user photos here to help you in your decision! good luck!
  17. i love watch shop days....
  18. Let us know when you get em.. but probably won't be necessary as Paulw's crystal should be arriving on Offshore's doorstep tomorrow. We can probably get by with just the one... but i'll consult with offshore once you get your spare to see if it could be of any use to the process.....
  19. I LOVE my Skyland Avenger Blacksteel (not to be confused with the huger SUPER avenger blacksteel).. but be wary.. The superocean is a MUCH more versatile watch and can be worn with almost anything. I often find myself trying to strategically plan out when i can wear my Blacksteel.. It just simply can't be worn with "anything". Here's my Blacksteel: The superocean steelfish:
  20. money bookers..
  21. Agree with most here. The Blacksteel is amazing but will not become a daily watch. It's style is just too limiting. It's a watch that i wanna put on everyday but just doesn't look great with everything i wear especially office clothes.... go for the B01 and be a trailblazer!
  22. Got a new strap for the GTXL yesterday. After 25 minutes and 3 ruined spring bars later.. i finally got this summumma bich installed. Since these GTXLs have the weird lugwidth of 23mm... i bought 24mm strap and squeezed it on.. i couldn't do it without roughing up the leather a little.. (damn shame) but it still looks aweomse.. and one i clip the roughed up leather around the lugs it'll look cleaner Honestly never wear this watch, and with this refresh it really brings it back to life and makes me want to start wearing it again! The strap is a calf skin preforated racing strap. I was gonna get the popular Aviator pro strap but watchworx sold out of the red 24mm version in Jan. Oh well.. This is better looking and haven't seen anyone with this combo yet.. so that means I can be original for once! On with the pics: Thanks for lookin
