Hey Mark, Welcome to the party. a great watch to get started with! I've got a Planet Ocean non-chrono and love it. Always wanted the chrono version but never bitten the bullet! In regards to your questions about dealers.. it's time you started doing a little research. Sounds like you know which watch you want.. now it's time you decide which dealer is best. A lot of factors might influence your decision: Price, Reputation, Customs, Quality Control, Location etc. Since you're based in the uk.. check out ptswiss (just google him) and eurotimez. If you're looking for better prices but don't mind waiting longer for email responses you can try Jay at silix-prime.com. You can also try Josh at perfectclones (google it) or Andrew at trustytimewatches(google it as well). My dealer of choice is Angus at puretime watches(google again). Do a little research on all of them before you make your purchase. The search feature in the upper right hand corner of your screen is your best friend here! Update: Sample crystal is on it's way to offshore. (thanks paulw!) Once he gets it, he can take measurements and photos and have them off to his contacts in china. First they'll look to see if there's any stock sapphire crystals already fabricated.. if so.. we could see some quick turn around.. if not the process will take a little longer, but in either case we should be getting price estimates really soon! I'll keep you guys informed!

Any word on those crystal dimensions JohnG? If you can get the crystal dimensions i can send them to Offshore and he can check them against a 253 sample crystal.

Let's see if anyone responds... A pam 212 cg screw will also work... You might need to contact a dealer, they might be able to source them. But your best bet is to keep asking around here. They are 2mm in size and they are specific to this pam model. Did you buy this model from LoganX or are you just using his photo? Try being more specific in your post title next time.. you'll get more hits that way. The title "screw" isn't appealing and doesn't give any information about your question. good luck with the search!

Dovo.. there should be no problem if you'd like to give the watch back. The watch is obviously not one of the "ultimate" swiss ones that most of us have. I would write Jay(silix) and tell him you'd like to return the watch for something else or ask for a credit in the difference in price.. He can hopefully do something. If he gives you a refund.. take your business to Angus at puretimes or josh at perfectclones. Neither of them will let you down and the prices won't be far off from Silix's.

Doubt it.. supposed to be one of the most comfy bracelets around.... Why don't you do a hairy arm survey on here.. Do you usually wear your watch very lose? For what you're willing to pay, you could buy this rep, have it serviced and water tested without going over your budget. If you hate the bracelet... it's looks great on leather, kevlar, or NATO as well..

Why is the addressee responsible in Germany? Doesn't make any sense... Without proof of purchase or a receipt (which reps never have), how can the german customs punish a recipient? Who's to say the watch wasn't a surprise gift?
