Hey Laz - its a so called perfect sub, my 2nd one (i broke the 1st one being an idiot) that sub was pretty much perfect (except the rehaut, pearl and crown..i can live with the rehaut, swapped the pearl, and should have sent it to a modder to do the crown) Stephane, If i could find a good stock 16610 MBW for a reasonable price I would have done that. If i can get this date issue worked out, I should be ok. I'm doing the metal work on a spare sub case I have its not the best rehaut, but I can live with that tiny flaw. Damm thats worse then I've had recently.... the really crappy part is my 1st sub that i got from paul was FINE, but my stupidity broke it..... =(

<vent> date isnt aligned, so i'm trying to get a replacement date wheel via my dealer which is like pulling teeth. then i'll have to send it out to one of our modders to get repaired. at the same time i figure i'll do a lume and service. but man its bugging me that i cant even wear the watch out of box cause the date alignment is so bad. the last sub i had the bezel insert was great sunk in so it made the cystal look tall...this new one (same dealer) is low, the insert is too high so thats gonna need work too..... lol, i know i'm whining...its all part of the rep game, but damm i'm having some crappy luck recently...... (my ETA sfso was flipping the date at 5am instead of 12) </vent>

the rollerball boheme i got is pretty nice. writes well....im not sure if it will take a gen insert

I have sent an email to The Zigmeister. We will see what he says. I had not planned on doing the repair myself. I was just wondering if i had to order a part, or if it was repairable as is.....

what sucks is, i HAD a perfect one before this...i broke the watch while changing the crown so i parted it out....i should have kept the date wheel im a retard. =/

Aliigoat - I JUST got the watch. so a new watch is out of the question FXrandy = i'm not sure, its basicly an ETA Noobmariner so I guess that was my question....do i need to purchase a new datewheel or do can it be repositioned?

waiting back to hear from Paul to see if he will send me a new one. if not where can i purchase a datewheel for an eta movement with the correct font? 1/2 the month is lower int he window, and 1/2 the month is higher so i'm assuming its printed offcenter =/

i Still want that pen ^ its hot.... basicly the same as i got but different design on the outside.... i wonder if the weight is comparable.... i dont think i have a scale thou. can you tell me where to get that HOT looking pen holder?? here are the pics from paul's site this is the pen i recieved...it looks like the pics....the coating is indeed rubberized...very cool actually. there is a few spots very tiny where there are imperfections in the chrome but i can live with it....

do i need to order a new datewheel? or is it something that can be repaired by say The Zigmeister? (i know hes on vacation so i'm asking here instead of bugging him)

u have to buy the bezel insert and pull the pearl out of the bezel....

and guess what....the total was 188.00 i didnt buy ANY rep's last month. lol....guess its time to reward myself with a new rep.... I STILL haven't bought my Ultimate Planet Ocean, I like the Tag Carrera Chrono too...hmmmm

i think i've fell in love with the huge crystal on these watches. its a totally different look from todays watches...... now to find one for sale, and hopefully they will take paypal too! lol I'm taking the advise of you folks who have told me to keep my So Called Perfect sub for my modern needs and go with a good MBW vintage.... my poor wallet
