Don't think that phong is an option, price is close to Gen. Couple of days ago I just missed 5513 case on VRM for 1600 euro I think. And you could easily get gen 1680 for 2000-2500$ I will buy old stock MBW from Rolex finder. Think this is the best option to go. I can easily sell it and upgrade to Gen in future. Sent from Hell

Gen Bezel with insert (pearl is broken) Gen t-19 crystal Gen 703 crown Gen 703 tube. Gen luminova Hands(Second hand is Tritium, need to decide on Lume) Pictures of some parts: I do need need: Gen dial (thinking about service 1680 "swiss" dial) Maybe Gen 1680 caseback. Rep Case or midcase: no idea what to get.. Could you suggest please what I should go for, it should be fully Gen spec. It's okay if it will require some modding. Thanks! Sent from Hell

Hi Guys! Need here your help here. I just bought Gen Sub hands for a good price for my new 1680 no cyclop sub project. Hour and minute hands are Luminova second hand is tritium. It was okay for me as on QC pics from seller they appeared to be the same. Questions: 1.Should I relume Second hand? 2.Is it possible to match lume tone and structure of lume component(it's appeared to be really bright on H and M hands) 3. Is it's possible to match hue and intensity of gloving of H and M hands? 4.Who could do this in UK or EU for decent price? Or better return hands and buy a other ones with matching luminous components. P.S. Seller offered me full refund, so I'm safe here. Wow, that's fishy. And VRF looks like collector space rather than vintage rolex forum.. no one reply on any questions about projects, Gen projects at all.. Just authentication and "how much it worth today" or "is it good investment or not".. Guys asking all the time what is better to buy as investment: early 1675 or tropic 1680 or rotten Great White.. He gets millions of comments. Other one just ask about bezel specs or at least part number and interchangeability with other models, silence as answer.. Not good. You just need to be careful, as everywhere, apart from RWG. This place is perfect place to be. On Rep forums people help each other even when they selling stuff it's look more like giveaway of some parts which would be useful to someone and not just to rip of the highest price, selling completely destroyed/rotten GMT chapter ring dial where you can see that only chapter ring was there as "perfectly faded early GMT gilt dial with nice patina" for 5000 €. Or every watch/case now on VRF is advertised as unpolished. Unpolished.. For 40+ years Sub, almost each.. Anyway, I got my best Gen parts from VRF, for good money. But almost no significant help from VRF people while you have questions about builds/projects, parts.. looks like for them it's all about find "grail" in retired watchmaker's drawer evaluate it and then sell for a fortune. Newer bought any watch from chrono24, all guys who I tried to deal with, and who have good prices there don't want to provide any reference and ask me to use Western Union.. Best rep parts and best advices I got from here! And without doubt worst place to buy for me is Ebay, you newer know what you will get.. Last time I received Jubilee bracelet with "rbgsfrned snsawase" instead of registered swiss made.. Blurred pictures and 45 bids from 10 buyers, world get mental. Hi Automatico! Thank you for reply! Yes, I do have now in my current 1016 build made of 16013 case, 1575 movement installed, all good. That's why I chose 16000 series for my next build. Yes, it's really hard to find 1016 midcase, I'm currently purchasing(waiting for seller to respond me) 1016 caseback.. Just in case.. I saw one 1016 midcase in last 3 years, complety ruined, rotten and jammed like it trapped under train, for 1000 euro.. Maybe i should go for it and do laser welding.. Sounds mental Sent from Hell
