  1. Still don't know why my avatar won't show up??? It does in my profile EDIT: couldn't find the original pic so I made a PrintScreen. Quality of the avatar is poor now but I have had this avatar since '05 RWG1 and I'm not planning on changing it any time soon Piece!
  2. Your model does not have sec at 6. The configuration is sec at 9 and is very reliable.
  3. Lost my VIP status too. And my avatar can't be seen either ..
  4. Andrew. Problem is I rejected it due to a damaged hand and I'm still waiting for new QC pics so it can take I while before it is in my hands...
  5. Ah okay. Good to know as this was not the case on the 312L. Thanks!
  6. I ordered one last week. Could't really make out the AR from the qc pics. Will let you know how it is when I've received it.
  7. In this case the 'CP' is part of the minute hand. Because they used a 7750 they modified the hand with a cap to make it look like a CP. So no, polishing is out of the question.
  8. Short review? It's freaking long and absolutely great! Nice pic and great write down. Thanks for taking the time. PS: It does not seem to be that much smaller compared to the other models.... maybe a wrist-shot to top it off?
  9. Sweet!. Never noticed it really. Looks great on the wrist. Thanks for sharing
  10. Thanks. Good to know. Might consider one of these new TGs then
  11. Hi Angus, If you send me a movement I will do a full tear down and photo report just for RWG. Let me know! Mark
  12. I'm really curious if these babies scratch? I saw one in the sale section and thought I saw a big hair line scratch on the mate ceramic.... So do they scratch (easily) and can it be fixed it that's the case?
  13. OR....... At $475 often a fraction of the cost of the genuine counterpart you won't only have a watch that looks like the real deal. It will also perform as the genuine. So if it looks, performs and is as reliable as a genuine... why buy a genuine? All the extra $$$ are solely for the brand name mark-up. Oh yeah and a piece of paper they call a 'certificate'. Never figured out why people are willing to pay $3000 and up for a piece of paper
  14. Only the gear train can be reversed. So only the hands will move in the opposite direction. All complications e.g. day/ date will not function any more and have to be removed.
  15. Just role the main spring in the opposite direction in the barrel.
  16. Hmmmm.. I know dealers charge $100 so that´s a no-go too. Maybe one will turn up in the sale section?
  17. Shoot Cousins a message. I know they got all clones: 2892, 2824 and 7750. http://www.cousinsuk.com/
  18. Well said. Nothing more to ad! Also look here to see how a movement could be delivered. As said Swiss or Asian is irrelevant when it comes to non-factory-vacuum-sealed movements. It all depends on the age of the movement and the quality and expertise of the watch smith that assembled it.
  19. Most of us are still around. Maybe less participating to some extent but still there
  20. +1 ETA: CW = winding ACW= setting 3135: other way around.
