  1. Great tutorial for an ugly watch Thanks for the time and info mate!
  2. +1 That or something with the gear train. Something is probably blocking one of the gears.
  3. Where are you movement holder screws? Maybe they got loose and are jamming up the train.. PS: It's definitely a screw on case back.
  4. You should have used Dynamite in the first place
  5. Wanna hear my joke? Used Puretime's 'Live support' for the first time yesterday. Thought I would get an answer within seconds as the 'on-line' indicator was on. But...nothing live about that tool as I'm still waiting on a reply. I believe it is a regular online question form. Nothing 'live' about it. Now THAT's some funny
  6. Your second hand is probably also floating on the dial somewhere...Everybody is a watchmaker nowadays
  7. Sweet looking watch but that big crown gap is a straight give away imo.
  8. Thanks for the info. If so the rubber layer could crack due to the salt/ chlorine water. Strange choice for a diver...
  9. Does anybody know what the insert is made of? Is it an inlay or is it painted? DLC, PVD etc? No idea.
  10. You're probably referring to the escape wheel. Did you take the bridge of you said? Please make a picture of the movement and the state it is now in. That will help me, help you
  11. Change the winding gears and you're 99% there. Small mod when you are in this stage. and it makes a huge difference! Mark.
  12. Removing a pearl is easy. Just use a razor. Recentering: Impossible.
  13. 99% sure it's the pallet fork. Look if the 2 screws that are holding the bridge of the pallet fork are tightened like they should. If they are loose and the fork get's a little play it will result in the issue you're describing. That or a loose pallet stone in which case it's hard to fix yourself. Good luck!
  14. Sweet movements. I can still easily spot them as fake but these are the best finished movements I've seen so far! Gorgeous! Tell us more....
  15. That's gonna be hard to source. Shoot a email to one of our dealers.
  16. +1 This could very well be the case. Take a look at the movement en tell us what happens to the balance when you turn the movement. Does it stop immediately, does it stop slowly or does it keep turning but only small swings?
  17. Shoot me a PM. Kijk er wel naar voor je
  18. Let's stop the bickering and give it a rest. Great to see the 7750 offer back up
  19. Most likely the problem lies with the gear train. Probably dirt or debree got in between the teeth making it impossible for the gears to turn. That's why the energy from the main spring isn't transferred to the pallet fork and thus balance. If that's the case there's no other option than taking it apart for a clean. One last thing you can do is make sure no screw or something got loose and is stuck in the gear train. Take a look with a loup under the bridge where the escape wheel is located. No weird things in there?
  20. Keep your eye on the sales section, 'parts-section' in particular. Or you can shoot a dealer an email.
