  1. Why? It's just one of the hundreds that join each month just to take take take and take some more from this forum and when they get what they want you never hear from them again. These sort of members and their questions 'who's got the best sub', 'which movement is the most accurate', 'who can service my movement' are the exact members that make me say 'I miss this hobby'. They are doing nothing wrong and I know it probably has more to do with me than them but I'm getting tired of it! From almost 9 out of 10 posts I make to help members (also via PM) I never hear something back. No quick 'thanks' nothing. Once again nothing personal Baryonic as you are actively participating in this thread. I'm just a little bitter at the moment...
  2. Please do a search. All your questions have been answered before.
  3. Always nice to hear back from those nice members we help eh Andy? Such mentality seems to be increasing and makes me want to help others less and less...
  4. Did Honopo beat everyone to the market? It does not look high-end though Find out
  5. I know exactly what you mean Bro. Here's a post I recently made in the Panerai section. Says it all I think.
  6. Thanks for the review. What's wrong with the 'i' and 'n' in de OP engraving on the back of the movement... looks printed by the way.
  7. Some people just don't get it. A replica will never be the same! Never. If they correct the CG they will build in a flaw somewhere else. Don't want to be an ass but I've been around since the early beginning of RWG1 and the quality and accuracy our reps has improved so much over the years! This is the golden time for replica's and honestly I'm getting tired of all those anal people nit picking about the smallest details. Yes! There are differences and Yes! they can be approved. Can the factories do that? Yes! Will they? NO! There will never be a 100% accurate replica as it would be genuine... think about it. We always wined about the sunken date wheel. That was the biggest tell. If they could please correct that that would mean everything to us. Now they correct that and we are bitching about other details. I would never want to be a replica dealer as I would probably kill myself. To me it seems like the least rewarding job on the planet. I like this movie (from Repgeek) e
  8. The design of both Daytona and Portu movements are the same when it comes to transferring the running seconds. Portu - Uses original location for the minute counter (@12) - Transfers running seconds from 9 to 6 - Does not use the 12h counter Daytona - Uses non of the original positions of the counters - Seconds from 9 to 6 (like Portu) - Minutes from 12 to 3 - Hours from 6 to 9
  9. Shoot me a PM and I will give you my address
  10. Why isn't your f*ck [censored]? Don't let your mood pull the trigger on something you might regret in the future TT! I must admit the tone of voice of this thread isn't very pleasant when reading but my gut feeling says something good can come out of it
  11. 100% true. These Asians sometimes cost considerable more time to service (if you want perfection that is). Took me a full 8 hours to do a BCE. Replaced all screws for nice silver ones and when I was finished it ran and performed like a champ.
  12. A lot of parts are interchangeable between Swiss and Asian 7750. Besides that imo the A7750 is as sturdy and reliable as the ETA after service. They have the same design after all...
  13. Thanks for sharing. My eyes watered too. You're a stand up guy Andrew and I'm happy I place all my orders with you. You have the heart at the right place my friend Regards, Mark
  14. Printed '27 jewels Swiss Made' on the bridge. As one can see due to the missprintg on one side..
  15. You should always use a thin soft plastic sheet between your press and hands. Every 'Pro' knows that.
  16. Bummer, but these things happen. When installing after-market parts there are often complications. It's very easy to damage a hand during installment. Especially chome plated hands... The question is, are you nit picking and can one hardly see the damages with the naked eye or are the hands really f'ed up? Shoot a pic will ya?
