  1. Check out aoobuy, a td over at rwg.bz His name is Robbie and is very good to work with. http://www.aoo-time.com
  2. Who schedules meetings on a Friday... I Hate having to dress up on fridays, but love putting on the 288k with a honey-brown croc so it makes it all worth it
  3. here is his email hamiltonleather@gmail.com He said he had many color options to choose from, good luck!
  4. I just ordered one from DONERIX (http://hamiltonleatherworks.com/) sand croc gummy, cant wait... havent even ordered my Ice Bang yet (still holding out for a V6F with a tungsten besel) Here is a photo from Donerix (of his):
  5. same here, Ill take the discount, not too worried about the pearl color. Just ordered for 249, cant go wrong with that, especially with increasing prices the last few years... Ordered just incase there is no V2, dont want to miss out like i did the SOH's...
  6. Welcome from Columbus, OH (try not to make us look bad )
  7. now we know why this version went on clearence so quckly... just an incorrect batch this round.
  8. The baddest A$$ yorkies on the block!!
  9. The H-factory has a superlumed dial, the V2 does not. Also the V2 lume is applied over white ink, creating a white outline around the numbers, which is incorrect as well. I have the 005, 000, 292 and have not had any problems with the cheaper low-beat movements that are in the H-factory models, if that is a concern. I would go with the H version, but I am going to wait to see if they come out with a "H-V2" with corrected hands and CG pin... we'll see.
  10. Does the Panatime lug set work with the new H-factory Rads (288 & 292)? I know they work fine for the older Rad cases but I haven't seen anywhere that they fit the new H factory cases. If anyone knows for sure, please let us know.
  11. I did the opposite. I was always too nervous to wear my sub. found these sites then found someone willing to pay for what I was asking so I sold it. it wasn't worth it to me, and it was probably only me you guys, and a few friends that even knew it was real to begin with. I was able to buy several reps, and also a carbon road bike as well. so I'm happy. I do miss the workhorse movement though.
  12. It should have Calibre 5 on the dial, unless.. do they make a Gen quartz model of it? Not sure.
  13. get some cape cod cloths off ebay, but dont worry after about a month of normal desk wear you will get several more to match : ) Look for a gen rubber strap, that really sets this watch off, or just see if you can order the rep rubber on a next purchase if you dont want to fork over the bux for the gen. Cool watch none-the-less, I wear mine all the time. Did your second attempt come with blue screws as well? It looks like an easy fix, either buy replacements or soak them in a paint remover then reinstall. Looks great
  14. Looks like mine. It is a great piece, sporty and classy. Pick up a rubber strap down the road to swap back and forth. Just a note, there is a clear protector over the entire bezel and crystal, and an additional thin clear protector on just the bezel, make sure to remove both. I thought the bezel was pitted until I realized there was another protector... duh : ) fyi
  15. Damn LHOOQ, I've been following you like a dog over this watch, I love it! Is the mesh oem Omega from Cousins or did u pick it up else where? Ive got the older Royal Navy rep version that I dont wear any more due to the stubby bezel, but a cool mesh might just give it new life. If from Cousins, do u recall the part#, their search feature is tedious! Also, is the number lume on the insert raised, or is it layered like the Polprof? Thanks.. and sorry for the wrist check hounding, you just threw me over the edge on this one : )
  16. Hope they take note and upgrade the lume and use a nicer crystal...
  17. Thats what I do with the wife's, carefully remove the bracelet and just let it soak in dish soap water, use a toothbrush to get in the cracks, let it sit on its side to drain. Dry as good as possible. Use a liquid wax polish to get in the links, remove excess to top it off.
  18. looks like mine, buy a nice brown leather strap down the road to swap once in a while with the croc, it changes the look and feel of the watch completely. This 288 is so nice Im afraid to wear it all the time, it really has that gen feel that a lot of reps dont.
  19. Just ordered mine too. Thought this would be a good start into the world of the Rads. I opted out of the gen strap... maybe I should reconsider, damnit.
  20. Thanks for the links, Ive been looking for these for a while. Thanks for the code as well.
  21. I am having trouble removing the movement from my newly purchased Grand Cal36. The hour hand is roughly 15min off set and there is a small piece of dust on the inside of the crystal. This is the first time I have tried removing a 7750.\ The caseback is off, stem removed, rotor off, screws and holding brackets (2 of them) removed. Typically on a non chronograph the movement will just slide out of the case. But here there seems to be something still holding it in. Any ideas on what this could be? The pushers shouldnt be the problem, since the only time they com into contact with the movement is when they are depressed. The only thing I can think of is the 10th Sec mechanism, which is not part of the movement but could it be holding it somewhere? The movement can rotate CW and CCW 5mm, so I dont think it is anything screwed down. If anyone can give me any I ideas, the hour hand and dust particle are driving me crazy. M
