Just ordered the RS (ss/ss) from Tony. Will let you know how it is when it comes in.

I liked both better in the protos, when there was no orange band around the "...5...10...15", now it's a bit much. Just me though. Otherwise, it is awsome. M

We emailed Jay this morning telling him what the problem was, so hopefully he replies with some good news. If it comes down to it, I will send it back for the watch I ordered. The thing that is making me nervous is that the stock number written on the little plastic bag was the correct number for the watch I ordered from their site, but with the wrong watch inside. I would be [censored], paying 30dollar shipping just for them to send the same watch because either their bags are mismarked or their web is incorrect. Nicely, did not complain...sorry...I will wait to see what they say before I rant.. TGIF'nF!!! M

Well...damn it, of course when the order is not for me, but someone else, the order gets f'ed up. I ordered a "Lady's" Tank, but unfortunately received a Gents. This was to be a gift to my future Mother/Law, and I KNOW it is way too big for her taste. So I am kind of bummed out about that. It is 24mm x 40mm when it was supposed to be 19mm x 35mm, and it doesnt look like the bracelet will be able to be adjusted to accommodate a small wrist...which is the worst part. I feel bad to email them, because I know they will just say send it back, but for a $70 watch that would be stupid. Aside from being the wrong watch, it is really nice, as a guy...I would never wear it, but I guess some would fancy it. As for the gift watch, it is a ladies size, which is strange that they acknowledged my request for the gift watch but screwed up the one that I ordered. Oh well, here is what I received. Nice looking watch, great dial, just a big SOB Not bad for 20 bucks, nice leather deployant strap, and the globe is not as obtrusive as seen in the pic Maybe next time... M

Id love to see all the pics you have accumulated, prob just sign up for photobucket...not sure on space limitations though. M

@pwygant I did the same thing with one of my vintage...I received the correct dialed watch but with the "red" insert instead of the pictured "silver" insert. I did not care, I have a few that I can swap in, but after wearing it with the red, it is kind of growing on me, and I think it is a small change from the rest, I am going to bleach it a bit and see how it turns out. Also, my GF's Cartier's should be here today...wish her luck on her surprise!! I will be a little disappointed if she receives a very masculine piece, but thats why we chose Cartier, for the fact that they are a very feminine line to begin with. I will try and post pics this afternoon. Has anyone else received theirs??? VB?? M

received my 2nd tracking number from Jay early yesterday. In customs now...good luck Cartiers!! M

What......this wouldnt go well down in FL??? Hope no guys get stuck with this one!!!!! m

Good luck to all on your "SURPRISE" \ we should keep this thread for showing what we received, so the posts are not scattered everywhere. Did anyone try to specify male/female? For mine I stated: Male, and my GF stated Female, not sure if this request is acknowledged either. M

Thats what my GF did too, but it was still overlooked, those replies might be automated. We had to email him again for him to see it. Good luck

it is not on their sites anywhere. You will need to purchase and send an email to them saying that you want to take advantage of their "end of summer special" for an extra $20. State the surprise watch brand "~Rolex~" and they will acknowledge your request. Not sure what time zone they mean, in china it is already the 1st, I would email them to find out, or just buy a watch, ask about the sale, and see what they say. It might be too late...it might not. M

...I guess it's a tag SLR. And the only way to even get a real one is if you own something like... THIS!! Umm...if I could afford a M slr, I would NOT be wearing a TAG!!

I took them up on this offer...all received. I made my GF take up this offer as well, Cartier/Cartier. She purchased on the 29, payed 30, and now just waiting for the shipping/tracking confirmation. The shipping details, as compared to my previous orders from Jay, usually take about two days to receive. But once he gives me the tracking info, it takes aprox. three days to my wrist. People have said he/she is patiently slow, but I have encountered my quickest shipments with this duo. It seems that they reply to emails only once daily, so communication IS a little slow ...but acceptable. Here's what I received Not a fan of the TAG...but SURPRISE...is the name. And my GF has ordered this, not bad for 50 bux,

I received mine a few days ago, and I am very happy with them, it sux about the lug holes being off...just think about the guy who miss measured, he prob had to go though all of them and and bend the spring bars to make them fit as punishment!! I just took my drill and added a 1mm hole on the inside of the lugs where they should be to accept a bracelet. I have both on NATOs, but one did come with the riveted bracelet, which looks nice. Watch out too, the plexi is held on with glue, so do not take them near water (fyi) or you will lose your crystal. All in all, I love them...I know they are not perfect, but they are fun and different. I am going to beat them up abit, an then I will take some pics.

@gioarmani Thanks for bringing the KING back into your sig arsenal, it's hilarious. oh...sorry, never been to France, ask PUG, I remember seeing photographs by him. M -
I was wondering if anyone has ever used such an automotive gasket maker to waterproof their watches? I tried this to an old CN sub, applying a thin strip around the caseback and also at the base of the crown tube, with a #1 brush. While still "malleable" I screwed everything down for a moment to maintain the threading, opened and let set until dry. Once set, screwed and tightened everything down and trimmed off the visable extra around the caseback (*can cause irratation to skin). Put it on a NATO and threw it in the pool. No bubbles, no leaks, and a dry movement. Not sure if this is any better or any worse than a greased rubber gasket, oh well, thought I would share my boring Sunday. M
