Loved it, ever since I saw Gad Elmaleh wearing it in Hors De Prix. Amazon has it for almost U$7k. http://www.amazon.com/Jaeger-LeCoultre-Com...0/dp/B000ZMB46C Jomashop bests them by 200 dollars. http://www.jomashop.com/jaeger-le-coultre-...ic-1718470.html JLC is a watch for classy men, like you, FxrAndy. The rest, with respect are either too common, or too easily repped (with the exception of the 010).

STOP THE PRESSES!! I thought Dluddy's ChronoPassione would be hard to beat, but THIS IS AMAZING. I just bought the Senape in 26mm, and now, I'm not sad I spent all that money. REQUEST OF LANIKAI: Can you put the Senape on your 229 one day? Hey, people always ask me to do that, and I love it. Help a sistah out.

I was wondering when it might dawn on people that I have no mortgage, no car/insurance payments, no kids, and therefore, am as free as a bird to buy straps and reps 'til the cows come home (with the wage I earn as a freelance writer)! Well, I was supposed to buy a new car in February. I'll be cash-STRAPPED when I do. Might have to sell tyres.

Many guesses -- they need quick money, but don't want to sell the Fiddy (they'll still get a great price, without it). It is stolen. It is a rep box?? I have seen the pearwood boxes many times, of course, but I found one being held. I am shocked HOW SMALL it is! This is for the 232. Apparently, Panerai are edging away from the beautiful pearwood boxes to this "oak" colour on the left -- seen on a display stand (via a French AD).

Thanks! If you mean complexion, I'm sure you've all noticed that lighting and other factors change my skin tone (I manipulate it at times). I'm embarrassed when I don't have a tan, as I hate pinky translucent whiteness. Looks like a piggy. If you mean skin texture, that's another story! @FxrAndy/Hyster: Both of you wear that same strap, which I adore -- is it REALLY a rep strap? This is truly the best rep watch out there: it's so well-reproduced. @Andreww: Much appreciated, all the same! I would never dishonour certain marques, like Panerai. Remember when I dissed that pink strap I bought? Err, if that made sense.

Hey, the female shop assistants at my local Nordstrom's (Merrick Place in Coral Gables) also wear pricey watches. My mum said one older Cuban lady's gold Ebel obviously looked fake, but I dunno. Now that I buy my mother reps, she thinks everyone's watch is fake. There are two watches that I doubt instantly are fakes in Miami -- Rolexes and Bvlgaris. I've heard stories of ladies holding the equivalent of Tupperware parties at their friends' homes, who deal in these low-end reps. Given your description, llsteve80, I think you're right to doubt them. Again, I'm going more by their reaction than your description of their watches. "Old" is just not a legit response, especially if both used it. It sounds vague and nervous. CBR and the tyre guy went on the offense in their replies. Cocky, even. When you have truth on your side, it shows.

Jon, I almost gave you a WTF! The Shoutbox is alive and well, used every day by loads of members. Did you perhaps disable it in your preferences? It should be in the front page -- eye-level as you log in. The guys and I tease people since they OFTEN confuse it with "Search Box". Personally, I think it should be renamed "StripperBox".

I've seen this Chronopassion before of course, but just to say Dluddy, that your strap collection is something I deeply admire. I have NEVER seen you put a FOOT WRONG in the choices. Can't say the same about your sweaters though. I was on the TC site perusing 22mm straps for the Fish today, and what new Giovanni e Figlio did I see? That's a killer on the Chrono, La Bomba, or any Titanium PAM. EDIT: Ooh, just found this Julien strap. Ditto. @Hike: Exactly. You chose the Biscotto for your 253, right? I remember someone posted on that. The "Marmi" Fumo above is more subtle. Delicate, just the ticket for the overbearing 47mms like the Slytech. The 253 needs to be jazzed up with a bluer thread, like this Landa has. And look at the blued-sides! ARGH. I already bought 3 straps today. Should I get this one...I know, I'm one sick puppy.

...can a gen PAM 127 box with papers be worth U$1,500? I won't point out the link, since given that this is a rep forum, it might look suspect. But it's out there. Oh, and the COSC certificate? Not included. That's extra, no doubt. Welcome to the World of Panerai.

I think Fleabay ***ing bidders' IDs is a good thing. That way, when we're bidding for something PAM-related, forum members won't be able to see exactly who it is -- and jack up the price. All kidding aside, I wonder what happened? It smells like he got a private offer OR it was pulled because it wasn't a gen (and he got scared). Given the unanimity of opinions here, I doubt it.

Dear, it's gone. Regards, nice week.

b16a2, you disappoint me! Just kidding. ...I truly appreciate the reply, especially given your Breitling expertise. Well, I suppose not everyone clicks on the Wristcheck threads (for shame, it's the best series on RWG). Here it is, on a Banda strap which Omega pointed the forum to, in this Monday's Wristies. P.S.: Don't worry. I won't be posting these kinds of threads all the time, for the Fish (or any other non-PAM watch). E.g., if I buy a Big Pilot, I already know the strap will be black. To make this thread talking point-worthy, let me just say that I'm disappointed with the strap selections for the Fish. Either men stick to the OEM straps, or just the SS bracelet. All this weekend I was perusing Fleabay and ScAmazon, and found practically nothing for the SFSO. Just some pitiful Hadley-Romas, and Bob straps, of which I have the tan one coming. If you have tips, please let me know!
-
POLL IS CLOSED. I bought the strap! Thank you guys. -- Unusual but elegant or too gaudy for my SFSO? Factor in that it's for me, not for you chaps. I have nicer nails. TIA, guys. I'm in unchartered territory with the . EDIT: Made it into a poll.

PM Narikaa from whom I bought the non-diamond version. He MIGHT be able to source it (he's in the UK). Another possibility, is going to another board, and PMing Wackobirdkeeper at Repgeek.com. If it is out there in Quartz, he can surely get it. When you do get it, DON'T FORGET TO TIGHTEN UP THE SCREWS! See here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&...st&p=412021 I looked up Andrew, and he doesn't have it. Josh does have a variant but as you say, it's got Swiss ETA. http://www.pc-80108.com/tg10041-link-size-...242-p-2338.html You're just going to have to bite the bullet, sunshine.

MONDAY Another tasty Mediterranean dish -- my Fish from Feta1 wearing its new brown Banda racing strap. Thanks to member Omega for the strap tip! You like? TUESDAY Tara Reid wears one. Elle McPherson wears one. And now, so do I! Okay, it's really my mum's. I prefer the SS white-dial, but I must say -- Silix' Rolex Daytonas are EXTRAORDINARY-looking for the price. I even like the caseback! Though I know it's an instant tell. @Kelster: Nice Wei

MAGNIFICO. That or the 228 GMT are next for me. More more! @Cronsell, Rolli: My two German admirers (well, at least of my 113/JV combo)! Thank you so much for your kind words. I wore the JV on 113 all weekend, and just now changed into the NATO. @Mezz: Exactly. 6 months ago, I would've overlooked watches like Predfan's. Now my eyes bulge. @Slai: Best shot in these Wristies! Brrr. @AP Pete: I bumped FxrAndy's burgundy hide post for you, so please check it out. I'm fairly sure that is what Laz' strap is. Guys, can you stand one more shot of the wonderlicious Jules Verne?
-
I'll say this for Daniel Craig striking such a Steve McQueen pose. Other men are overwhelmed by such a watch. But that Planet Ocean suits him down to the ground. P.S.: The Thinking Man's Bond? I thought that was Dalton?
-
Of all the gen watch collections, IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, so far of those shown, El Primerozen's is the most complete for a young man. Bravo. @Sanro:

No offence to Antiquorum, but running a quick spell-check looks more professional than "tje watcjes". WTF. Did Japan move to Holland? I wonder which of the 30 "world's leading deep sea divers" in 1967 is coughing this one up?

Why in the Sam Hill are men paying attention to hos?? Of course they need Fiddies. They're the size of Egizianos down there! Okay, enough double-entendres. It's like a Benny Hill rerun.
-
Ooh, yummy. The whaaa? "Space-Dweller"? Never heard of her. Nanuq just burst a vessel. Unfortunately, this is all I would be able to afford. Those are Rolex hoop earrings there, yes?
-
Why do men have such a fixation with size? Seriously. I don't get it. You must think it's important to yourselves, because women don't care! Me, I love Fiddies. But a 6" Casio is plenty big for any woman.

You read my (future) mind! Thing is, TWP has my 183 and 190. Moment I receive them back, my OEM Red Gator will be on the 183. Stay tuned! (Zeugmas are FANTASTIC. Did you choose English to browse the site?) EDIT: Found one of my Zeugmas, very close in colour to the one you chose. For the 190, I'm thinking this Zeugma blackie will be off the chain.
