  1. I've been waiting for a Bell & Ross too, not sure if I am going to jump on this one or not, may need to hold off on this one. Can't wait to see a review on this.
  2. Definately a rep. Officine Panerai engraving on movement is upside down. EBAY Link
  3. I am right with u shutter bug. Huskers all the way. Alumni myself......back when they won 3 national championships.
  4. I still haven't purchased my first PAM yet, and I want to emphasize yet. I tried on my first PAM at a recent trip to a local dealer and I have liked them since. But I have a very specific taste. My want list is a Fiddy and the 217 destro. There are some PAMs out there that I dont like at all.
  5. Good for you Joshua, expose the scammer!!java script:emoticon('', 'smid_11') I've ordered two watches from Joshua so far and great service both times. Defintely my dealer of choice.
  6. Nice one, definately one of the more accurate reps........wear it well! Joshua is the best, I purchased the same Lange that is in your avatar from him.
  7. Thanks a lot for all the responses. I guess many of you agree with me that it's not worth the extra $$$ for the swan neck. I personally like the swan neck since it makes it more accurate but considering how much more expensive it is I think for now I am going to stick with one without it. Hopefully they will fix some of the flaws that are out there now which may make it worth purchasing the swan neck in the future, but until then, I think i will hold off. Thanks guys!!
  8. Wow, This is a great idea. Can't wait to see who wins!!
  9. Plus he doesnt have any Grahams left according to an offer someone else posed to him. He said he was out of stock. That Graham is an interesting piece, that's for sure. If someone takes the plunge I would like to see a review.
  10. Just wondering what the point is for purchasing a PAM with a swan neck (aren't all swan necks just for looks on the reps?). I know it's more accurate with the swan neck but since most PAMs have flaws on the back anyway, why spend the extra money on the swan neck. I've was about to purchase the PAM 217 Destro with swan neck but then I realized the engraving "officine panerai" on the back of the movement was upside down. So now Im thinking of saving my money and getting one without the swan neck and/or possibly puchasing the Asian one. Anyway, to make a long story short, why did you or will u purchase a PAM with the swan neck.
  11. Currently I prefer the Orange....even though I don't own one yet will probably purchase one some Trusty here pretty soon. I have a sub but havent worn it at all.
  12. I noticed this very same thing a couple weeks ago too.....I was thinking of purchasing a PAM with the swan neck but then I realized that all the reps have the engraving upside down compared to the gen. So what is the point of spending extra on the swan neck when the engraving is messed up. Anyway, if anyone knows of a dealer that has the correct engraving....please let us know. Thanks
  13. This is my second purchase from Joshua, I received it very fast again, within 8 days from the time of my order. I think we've seen quite a few shots of this watch but I thought I might as well add mine. I've had the watch for about 2 weeks now and have been wearing it almost exclusively. I actually wore this watch into two different watch dealers earlier last week and they noticed it right away. Both mentioned how they really like the titanium look. One dealer asked if he could see it, which I allowed him to, (I was looking at his Panerai at the time). He said how he always liked IWC's (BTW, he did not sell IWC, Rolex, Panerai and Patek). Not sure if he knew it was a rep or not, but he was really pushing the Panerai on me. Anyway, it was kind of fun. Here are the shots. I know, I need to get an account for picture hosting. Whats the best site for that?
  14. I have this same watch.....in bright light, you can tell the hour numbers are blue but the hands are definately black.
  15. Best of luck to you, I know you really liked that watch based on your previous posts. I actually just purchased one myself based on your review. Hopefully I don't get a lemon also. Maybe PT will change his mind and just let you exchange it if you can't find anyone to repair it for you.
  16. Wow, Looks great Joshua. Just another reason to keep purchasing from you.
  17. Now, why would they bother doing that, making a rep like that, such a stupid mistake.
  18. Yep, Should be "Swiss Made"
  19. Wow, I never knew pp would just leave you hanging after winning a settlement. They aren't going to refund you the money? That is very strange. I would keep hounding pp about this. As far as sending more money for a discount on another watch, I would not do this personally. Unfortunately, you can chalk this one up as a learning experience and stick with other dealers that accept the payment method that you are willing to use. There are a number of dealers that use pp and they have never had any problems. The two dealers that I use do take pp and I have never had any problems. I won't chance using anyone else. Find one or two really good dealers with a good reputation and stick with them.
  20. I am so glad someone finally brought this question up. It is very frustrating to have to email each dealer to ask for a price on a certain watch. I recently emailed one dealer for a watch and was very surprised at the price. He was a dealer that I had purchased from before so I don't think it was an inflated price, but if I would have known the price to begin with I would have known it was out of my price range. So right now, I am currently waiting on 3 other dealers to see if they have this watch and what their price is. Is this a big deal?, not really....can it be frustrating?....yes. Will the price be my deciding factor on who I purchase this watch from?......probably not. Customer service goes along way, and if there is a problem with a watch it's not a big deal to pay an extra $20 to $50 to purchase it from a dealer who you know will make it right and reply in a timely manner and to save that extra money to be dicked around if there is a problem. So, to make a long story short, just post your prices.
  21. That Titanium model is sooooo sweet. It's definately my next purchase. Has anyone come up with an answer about the bent second hands? Im pretty sure they are like that with the gen also, but haven't seen a good enough picture of one to verify.
