It's one of the most wanted IWC's that hasn't been repped. They started working on it nearly two years ago from what I can tell and then the trail went cold. Angus from Pure Time was keeping people in the loop then he suddenly stopped responding about it. No explanation. There's a thread in the Pure Time section about it at another site, geeky, reppy site.. Anyway, who knows. Finger's crossed! Only watch I'm waiting on. Yeah totally, the only reason I think it looks a bit small in person is because of the bracelet width is close to the bezel width (+3 each way I guess) which makes it look a bit 'bracelety'. he pic I posted doesn't really show that though, and it's only a minor niggle. I'm into bracelet watches at the moment so wouldn't put a strap on this. I'm with you 100%. Always said that watch sizes should be proportionate to wrist size. I couldn't imagine wearing a 44. A small wearing 40 or 41 would probably be the biggest I'd ever feel comfortable with. Raffles was away there, just noticed his site is back up again now, so going to message him about the hands. I thought that was pretty impressive too. One of the reasons I went for this rep.

Because there's a section of trusted dealers it would feel incestual to name drop just one of them, and redundant to relist them all.. I'm new too, and purchased from a TD here. Just find a watch you like and contact the TDs on the board and see if they have it in stock and at what price. I contacted a bunch of TDs here about a number of models until I settled on what I want. I fee you though - I was very close to making a thread like yours when I first joined. But held out (as I knew it would be a bit spammy if every member did the same, you'll notice they make jokes here about 'who has the best sub' type threads), did a bit of searching, and was Really happy with the outcome. It arrived and is ticking away fine (cheapest 21j movement). Time from payment to delivery was 10 days in total. Thought I'd get a quick wrist shot up! Looks how I expected and is exactly what I was looking for - something low key and comfortable to wear. Going to make a great beater until I get an IWC 40mm Ingenieur some day. My wrist is around 6.5 to 6.75 and this watch looks just a tad on the small side (the picture focusing on the watch makes it look large, but in normal viewing it looks smallish - will take a pic later to show what I mean). I like watches to be proportionate to the wrist for daily use, but I think an mm or two larger would still have worked fine. I have a 36mm watch that feels and looks much larger than this . I was expecting the bracelet to be roughly done, (was even shopping around before it arrived for a possible replacement) but it's smooth and comfortable and wouldn't consider changing it now.

I tried them abuot 5 years ago and haven't since. Too expensive. I'd only use them again if desperate for something and wasn't concerned about the cash. Lots of US stores now do shipping to the UK/EU and can charge you import at checkout so there are no delays (using Borderfree). So haven't really felt the need to use a forwarding service recently. Saks, ShopBob etc are where I'd usually shop for fashion gear for the other half. Bit of a tangent there, sorry!

Super [censored] run of bad luck there. Some f**kers done in my bike years back when they couldn't steal it. It wasn't insured. Lost nearly £4k after salvaging some parts. Worst feeling in the world at the time, but I know you'll bounce back. Hopefully with an exceptionally good spell of luck. Don't let thieves break your spirit.

Seriously high-tech. Loved the scanning of the part into the computer. Not what I was expecting at all. Also surprised to read that the replica makers are sometimes faster at componentry than the Swiss. Definitely highly skilled artisans at work here. Just a shame they will be condemned for it. Really makes you think twice about the cost of gen watches.

Have already OK'd the watch. It's my first rep, and didn't throw much cash at it. Really more of a dip my toe in the water purchase than anything. Thought I'd get the pics up here in case it helps someone sometime.

The logo bothers me the most about these Omegas.

Hard call, both look class. White is more of an eye-catcher, sportier, perhaps more attractive, though I'd go black as my current mood is to keep things toned down.
