  1. Thanks, doc. Kidneys and bowels are fine - just the minor wrist rash. Water intake is not the issue. I have to pee 4-5 times a day at work. I also don't think it's the buckle as it just doesn't touch the skin much. Maybe I've gained some weight and I need to start wearing it one hole looser. I actually prefer the looser feel to tight on the wrist anyhow.
  2. Still room for more crystals if anyone else wants in.
  3. Yea, gen end links will take care of it. You might even be tempted to replace the whole bracelet while you're at it.
  4. Total copy.
  5. LOL Well since you asked... old school 063 2892, watchmen cyclops, finepics DW, superlumed, Palp crown, Jimmy Fu CG. My favorite piece.
  6. M - stainless doesn't seem to bother me. I'm wearing my Rolexes alot now because they don't cause the inflamation, nor does my Ti Breitling (wearing today)... I think it's the leather. But it is very strange that it is the underside of the wrist only.
  7. SFSO, although I find it ugly, is a great rep as is. Probably the best. Others that are quite good which I personally like better than the SFSO would be the "Ultimate" Planet Ocean and the 2892 FM Conq. Many of the Omega reps, if you like Omega, are quite good, actually. The Railmaster, the Seamaster, and the Aqua Terra all strike me as nice out-of-the-box reps even though they aren't my cup of tea.
  8. So, suddenly out of the blue I'm developing a rash on the underside of my wrist whenever I wear leather around my wrist. The effected area becomes itchy, red, and even slightly swollen by day's end. This is happening with my favorite straps - greg, vintager, strap culture, etc. And these are straps that I've worn for a long time with no problems in the past. I'm puzzled. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? Before I throw a collection of nice straps away, I've got to at least try cleaning them.... They don't look dirty, but what the hell. So what's a good leather cleaner to try out? Any other ideas? Thanks!
  9. Yea, let's get some specific dimensions... I've sot some sources with potentially decent prices.
  10. That looks very good. Not quite PVD-like but very nice. The problem with PVD, or at least trying to match PVD color from a sample is that it really comes down to Al doping percentages which coating companies aren't going to be willing to alter.
  11. Looks fake.
  12. Good stuff as usual, W. Love the CD 2006.
  13. I'm thankfully clear of the fires, but know many who are having their lives turned upside down... It's hard to imagine.
  14. Well, then, let's contact Jimmy!!! I could use some more CGs!
  15. Very.... luminous!
  16. This will be interesting. Bead blasting alone probably won't remove the rep PVD cleanly.... Usually it would need to be stripped. Is this what they mean by "cleaning"?
  17. Matt who?
  18. R - An amazing job once again here. Crown guard shmown guard... Making a 7753 Honpo 187 is far more than anyone else on the forum could do. Bravo!!
  19. Now that's a watch. Let's see them Panerai detractors call THAT thing gay...
  20. MBW hands are very good.
  21. The current MBW modern subs are indeed "wokky". To find proper rehaut depth with a cylindrical shape, one must obtain the old school MBW or TW Best case on the used market (mine's not for sale)....
