  1. Why can't you just do a high res scan of a gen DW, clean it up then print an adhesive overlay for the Asian DW? Sounds like the simplest way of going about it rather than creating the font from scratch.
  2. Go with whatever you are comfortable with. It's your day, you make the rules. A watch should be any expression of you, not a result of the rules that other people seem to think is 'correct'. Where is it set in stone what is or isn't a 'wedding' watch? Go with the PAM if that's what you prefer. Style should be effortless.
  3. My new BCE TT arrived today. It is not the new version :-( Apparently the new DW version only comes in two models and mine ain't one of them. Nice watch but the crappy asian DW has taken away some of the enjoyment somewhat. What's a 'lello' DW and how do I get one?
  4. I totally agree. I'd love to see the naysayers who screamed how much they hated this will just jump all over it once it comes out. I personally love this watch and think it's a great and worthy successor. Some people just don't like change. The Clownmaster 2 this ain't.
  5. What did he do with his? I can't find the tutorial.
  6. Thanks for that! What do need to search for? What size pins are they and do I need any special tools to install it?
  7. Ok guys, I need some advice. My UPO clasp has fallen apart. Basically the pin that acts as the hinge for the folding section has come out and I cannot get it back in nor do I know if it is possible to replace it. Any advice as to what to do? Can I buy a new pin and is it an easy job to reinstall it?
  8. I really hope that this means it includes the one I'm waiting on. Andrew has yet to get back to me.
  9. I have a TT BCE on backorder with Andrew to replace the SMP Chrono that has gone missing in the post and I really hope he sends me one of the latest batch. I would be beside myself if that happened. I emailed Andrew and hope he replies with good news.
  10. It's got a centred pearl which I've never seen on an Omega rep before. Beats me why they can never seem to centre the pearl in the triangle properly.
  11. That is nonsense. Diuretics will screw up your kidneys, more so than steroids. The only serious potential side effect of anabolics steroids is liver damage but that is confined to the strong oral steroids in large dosages over long periods. After cessation of use, liver values normalise pretty quickly by themselves. Kidney damage is a remote possibility but highly, highly unlikely.
  12. I think they pretty much all looked healthy until the late 90's. Porter Cottrell and Kevin Levrone were two standouts for me. 'roids are pretty harmless and I would much rather my kids took a cycle of dbol and deca than smoke or drink. It's the ancillaries: the slin, the igf-1 and diuretics that really screw you up. Supplementation is probably one of the biggest cons known to man and it's all sold on the back of images of guys who built their physiques using drugs.
  13. Gaspari sails very close to the wind but I have noticed that his current range is no where near as effective as pre-ban. When they banned ephedra, effectively the backbone of the original Duchaine Ultimate Orange, it made the new formulation of UO pretty anemic. Put it this way, why spend the $$ on Gaspari's stuff which when you can have the real deal for less? By-Tor is correct. Protein powder, roids, good food and good training. It's not rocket science.
  14. That explains why I can't find anything about it. I thought it was an aborted project. Thanks!
  15. Damn, that is a good looking car. Even nicer than the DB9.
  16. Bruce Lee's protein shake recipe scared the crap out of me also. Seriously, good food is the best way.
  17. Sounds pretty good. I didn't know that Myoplex RTD came in a low carb version. It's the carbs that really put me off many of the MRPs. As regards glutamine, it's pretty superfluous as whey contains huge amounts of both BCAA's and Glutamine - extra glutamine has not been shown to have any extra anti-catabolic effect over regular whey. If the formulation of Phosphagen has not changed, then I imagine it's still using Creatine Monohydrate. I used to use Phosphagen HP - a great product. Consider switching to a Creatine Ethyl Ester or Dicreatine Malate. You use less as they are more effectively absorbed plus you don't need to load. They also do not cause the bloat of Creatine Mono. Before bed, use a sustained release protein such as Micellar casein, which releases aminos much slower than whey and will keep you anabolic until morning.
  18. I created a method to do this 3 years ago but never got round to marketing it. Hard to say whether they are using my method or not but I know of at least 4 ways this can be done exactly. Sadly, I'm not allowed to tell...
  19. The Myoplex, Betagen and Nitron you can keep. The rest is unnecessary as you're basically doubling up. Myoplex is a good meal replacement but it lacks the heavyweight protein punch a dedicated protein powder provides and as it is pretty carb laden, you'll end up with less than lean weight gain if you take it more than once a day. Consider trading the rest of the stuff for some 90+ protein powder. I know most of the EAS range as I was suckered into buying most of it back in the early 90's when Bill Philips owned the company and was pimping it through MM2K.
  20. Dude, that is some heavyweight stuff. My take on supplements is that they are just that: supplements, not replacements for good clean food and smart training. I currently use a good protein powder such as Syntrax or Met-Rx, and all in one creatine/HMB/Protein (Sci-Mentor Twister), Amped ECN NOS and a multivit/mineral. Most supplements are BS. Stuff like Gakic/Leukic and Xenadrine are next to useless. The best 'supplements' out there are 'roids. Period.
  21. The X-33 is a direct replacement for the Speedy Moonwatch and has been dubbed the 'Mars Watch'. It was designed with aerospace/spaceflight in mind and is NASA spaceflight certified and I believe it has now been withdrawn from civilian sale (it sucks, but what can you do?). I'm not entirely sure how you would obtain one but I beleive that if you were to go to an Omega AD or to Omega direct with your military ID, you can get one. I absolutely adore this watch. Here's a link to the history of this watch: http://watches.ryanrooney.com/X-33/x33-history.html
  22. Doc, out of curiosity, what are the other guys in your squadron rocking? In addition to all of the above, strongly consider the Omega X-33 (which as USAF, you will have no problem obtaining) or the good old fashioned Omega Speedy Pro. If I was a pilot, the X-33 would be my only choice just because it is incredibly good at what it does and is one of the few watches conceived as a utility watch for modern flight missions, not as a fashion watch with an aerospace schtick.
  23. My buddy and most of his squadron wear Explorer II but quite a few wear GMT-Masters (I imagine for the same reason that the Explorer II is favoured). None wear Breitlings.
