  1. he sells some nice straps but I wouldn't agree that he is the ONLY one to go for hornback croco straps...you can get them from different sources, nicely done and even for a better price.
  2. wow, if I always got this kind of credit for my (faulty) replica watches that I purchased now I would be a millionaire!
  3. that's a really nice looking combination - love that gator strap...is that a Cajun gator?
  4. nice one siesta...welcome to the club! DSN did an awesome job with this one...
  5. I definitely need to add some pre-v pieces to my collection...the Cortebert will be used for my "little E" project... no, the hornback is from another strapmaker from 'risti.com...I haven't seem him listing anything for a while now, but you can try and ask a member on RG (mgoony) to make you a similar strap (he had the same hide available) and his prices were 50% (maybe even less) of what I paid...
  6. there was a thread on RG about the same problems with HKTAN...some members were waiting for 9+ months, but this is not a news when it comes to dealing with HKTAN...I really do not understand what's wrong with that guy?! he makes some really nice straps but the waiting time is not acceptable IMO... the best part is that in the meantime he keeps posting straps FS that apparently he has on stock and members who order them still wait the long period of time to get them in hands!
  7. looks really nice, DSN did an awesome job this time
  8. looking better and working fine for me...
  9. wonderful 027 you got there... The Zigmeister is truly the best watchmaker on all the forums...he did an awesome job!
  10. new relased Graham, do you like it? I kind of prefer the Chronofighter Commando with the CF bezel & dial...I remember a couple of years back when this Graham's were available only with asian 21j movements and were pretty inaccurate reps...today we have 10 + super reps of the Graham... a couple of pics...
  11. this is the winning combination - just like Jacko was wearing...
  12. another drawing has been sent by member merlin699 (RG member) regarding the movement ring for the molnija 3602 suited for mini fiddy case - please share your thoughts and comments : merlin699 said for another case the height 3mm should actually be 4.5mm and the outher width should be "X" depending on the case (and not 37,7mm like on the pic)
  13. member rmcsherry strikes again! R was kind enough to make the first drawings...please take a look at the picture that I will attach and let me hear your comments (members who have in hand movements and cases - please review this drawing if needed) :
  14. actually I have 6 of them (forgot the PAM212 w Swiss7750 movement - was in the drawer cause it has some stem problems and I have not been wearing it since I got it in a trade) - here is another group shot :
  15. I know that members usually are registered on both forums.. I thought that everybody will reply once, or here or there...cause my decision of making these will be only if I have a certain number of interested people. seems that there is interest for the mvt rings.. If I read correctly the interest is for the following movements : molnija 3602cortebert 616 (other?)angelus sf240 45mm47mm There is already one drawing (made by rmcsherry) existing - for the Angelus SF240 to suit a 47mm case...it has been tested and it is good. What we would need now is to make drawings for other movements/cases - I am not the most skillful to do it, thus it would be great if some members could do it (the 1st one who does it correctly, will be rewarded with a free mvt ring)... We have to foresee all the possible problems with these, cause I do not want to see this project fail...I did not handle a lot of different type of cases nor movements thus I do not know if cases of the same size but from a different maker have actually some different measures...I am looking forward to hear the opinion from members.... so let's bring this project to it's 2nd phase... last but not the least, let me hear what do you think it would be a fair price for a custom made movement ring?
  16. I got it directly from the source in Thailand/Bangkok - MBK center "Nah Piek" shop...
  17. PWC from RepGeek claims to have real sapphire crystals on the 212 - apparently they were custom made for him (no other dealer has them)...in a post over at RG he even mentioned the price for the crystals only - it was something like 200USD (or even 250)
  18. correct! I just had a search for the post I had in mind...I remember there was mentioned HK, now re-reading it I realized the OP met Angus in GZ... Here is the link to the post : http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=71918&hl=
  19. that's a great way to start the day seeing this pictures....thanks!
  20. you have done an amazing job, congratulations! and the movements you have on stock lookk really promising for the next projects... you'll end with a fabulous collection and with no $ in your pockets...LOL I am looking forward to your next project...
  21. MBW/MBK PP Nautilus RG (more pics : http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=101861 ) :
  22. wasn't Angus a.k.a. Puretime available for deals face to face in HK? or I have confused dealers/city?
  23. seems that members over at RG have more vintage projects in the drawers than the one from RWG..there has been expressed some interest (it looks like a limited run will be done)...I'll however wait a week or two before I do the list of interested members...in the meantime I hope there will be done drawings for different type of movements/cases... bump...
  24. Here are a couple of pics of my beautiful MBW/MBK PP Nautilus Rose Gold on a black croco leather strap...
