  1. awesome 201/A...I love it! I hope to add a supermodded one to my collection in the near future..
  2. cool! now you need a partner and you are ready to go...
  3. nice one S! I have never seen a picture of this genuine - btw today I spent a couple of hrs on the internet "hunting" for pictures of vintage Panerai (found some really nice pictures - big & good resolution)...
  4. I have one case that I might PVD coat...it is from a PAM028...what is the price for this service? you can PM it to me..
  5. I have an italian watch magazine from the year this model was released..the price is in italian lira...I will post a scan of the article so you can see what was the price for the public of these models..
  6. Lovely 028 you got there and definitely one of a kind with all those genuine parts.. funny thing is that this one cost more than the genuine one when it was released...
  7. P, put me on the list.. any chance of doing a dial for the Vintage 3646 california dial?
  8. you won't find anything half decent on those markets..however, good luck in your search!
  9. Breguet Marine Big Date, that's the one you should go for...definitely one of the nicest watches that I know!
  10. I started the same topic on RG two years ago..since then I stopped answering Q's i received from members by PM which I judge not being written properly...with an introduction (like hello, hi,...) and with a polite ending (tnx in advance, regards,...).. I get immediately nervous when I remember some of the PM's that were literally like this : "where can I buy the best PAM111?" or something similar.. a lot of people do not know the basics of polite communication..that's the reality! thanks all for reading this post!
  11. All this 029 talk reminded me to pull out of the watchbox my 029 w 2893/2 mvt ..I need to repair the CG and to install the DW (once it gets back to me)..the tuxedo dial is really beautiful, deifnitely one of the PAMs which will never ever leave the collection...I remember I got that one for cca. 500$ a couple of yrs ago! congrats on your project, sourcing all those parts must have been a real pain in the a.. remember to post pictures once you complete it! good luck..
  12. Of course we remember you! In fact I was missing as well for 8/9 months and just recently logged back in..I am catching a little bit with the hobby, today I purchased a watch after a loooooong period...I got myself a Citizen Eco Drive Diver for the summer - getting a new watch is just a great feeling! welcome back...
  13. I am sure there are reasons for you being banned on RG and just to let you know that I am with the "east bloc" all the way cause those guys are great members and personal friends of mine!!!
  14. @all - seems this guy has been banned on RG (and apparently on some other forums as well), so be careful!
  15. review well done - thanks for sharing! this is one of my favorite ROO's but the blue color that is so off is what always kept me away from buying it...such an expensive rep (replicated from a genuine piece - as they say) should have been done better IMO...
  16. Hi Mike! gorillabird you say?! here it is (for the last time...LOL) : got a new pet now :
  17. @all - tnx for the welcome.. today is the second day in a row that I log in...kind weird for me since I was 9 months off...but there are plenty of cool posts that keep my eyes wide opened..this weekend is gonna be with just a couple of hrs sleep..lol!
  18. @Dave - I've had and still have some problems with my business, not running as it should - the WW crisis has hit me really hard...so I've been concentrated mostly on that @Helmut - cheers my friend! I am slowly catching with the posts from S and other vintage fans such as clint easwood, projectologist,...damn! you guys have been doing some nice things when I was off line...
  19. incredible! I truly admire your skills S and your endless love for the vintage pieces...you are indeed the true master!!! congratulations my friend!
  20. tnx guys for the warm welcome!!! wow, already feeling the excitement!!! I am on page 87/417 of new posts, I read only a couple of topics regarding the vintage PAM projects (yes, I confess - I am weak when it comes to vintage PAM's but hell, who isn't?!! ) so much nice personal projects around, unbelievable! I forgot that members in here have all this passion for this hobby, making it the best hobby in the world! I decided to open this weekend my drawer with vintage parts & projects that I put a side due to other more important priorities - an e-mail is already on it's way to VDB to see if we can agree upon a new baby... (2x Angelus SF240, 1x Cortebert 616).. Then my 3 babies (027A, 028A, 029B) need some facelifting as well, all the parts are sitting in the drawer waiting for the right watchmaster... I love this hobby!
  21. Just a short hello to all of you that remember me...and to the new members as well! It's been almost 9 months since my last log in..difficult times, both in private & business life but hopefully better time will come... I hope to have in the near future more free time to pop in and check what is happening in here...now I have only 417 pages of new topics to read (hmm, that's just 10412 new entries!!!) So, what are the most important things that I have missed in this period?! Cheers to all!
  22. I stayed at the Liuhua Hotel while I was in GZ..I was pretty happy with the service at the hotel. The humidity and high temperatures is something I couldn't support, every 2hrs I was back at the hotel for a shower and change of clothes... I wish you a nice stay & looking forward to your update
  23. the movement in that one is a SF240...but the price is insane!! for that amount you can get a complete Vintage Panerai from the master S! (and you have some $$$ left for the best Vintage strap)
