nice pick up! While I was in BKK the prices that I got from the dealers were pretty much the same as the dealers that are found on the rep forums...they were not even ready to negotiate the prices! Did you manahe to pick the one with the sec at 12 for a better price than the one offered by our dealers? I had for a while the AP ROO EoD from MBK - really nice rep....hopefully they will do it with the new movement with sec at 12!

The caseback on the GEN PAM028A is S/S not PVD the 027 and 028 have the same caseback...both s/s

the last couple of days there were FS threads for both of them - lello DW and chieftang cyclops I am waiting for a DW - after I install it I will see if it needs a better cyclops... I have an aftermarket PVD coating applied on mine (not sure where it was done but it looks like the GEN one) - and I have a spare case as well with the rep PVD // the difference is day vs. night!

I have a stupid Q, but have you tried getting it from DSN - he sells spare parts and I believe he would sell it separately..(I am not 100% sure if DSN caseback would fit cartel cases, but I may be wrong) I am on the other hand looking for a rare bird - a caseback for the PAM027A/028A , cannot find it anywhere!!!

Ok, I see..this makes it very difficult to complete the project...almost impossible without the right watchmaker.

this kind of projects take some time...to source all the needed parts and to do it in a prefect way...I have two of these to complete during this year...I have sourced almost all the parts...now I have to assemble them and make them to fit perfectly... Take your time and complete the project...you'll be proud of yourself and you'll have a unique timepiece for yourself to enjoy!

the watch seems to be in really good conditions...look at the beauty of this old mvt :

all the 3 movements look like they are in great condition...cases are nicely reworked, new engraving between the lugs on the 6152, dials are nice and gently made vintage, welding on the cases is perfect, plexi,..gotta love all the details that makes huge difference!!! you are a perfectionist... the straps in the end are just a cherry on top of the cake...great combination!
