hey V, tnx for the advice regarding the crown...i will do the swap as soon as i get the new CG (should be pretty soon - member verbal kint will send me one for free - great gesture from my friend robi)... the jimmyfzu CG, will be ready for another project!

Hi Randy... thanks anyway for the nice gesture...another member - Z3ko - offered me one...and I've contacted cousins and some other supplier...they have it on stock...and they answere my e-mail in 5 min...great too.. thanks to all members that offered me help!

the first one I got from a member on TRC...the price was right for a modded one...then a day after another one came in the sales corner for 200$...and I had to have it - it has the off wht font color and the mods that were done were great - I ended paying it 260$ shipped...first I tought of selling one but when I got both in my hands, i decided not to...

suppose if it is an ETA (genuine) movement that it's reliable...otherwise it wouldn't be used by Tag Heuer...or others...

tnx again for the comment... i've cut a little-tiny piece of the part that goes in the crown, since it was needed to fix it in the case again...but i have found difficult to screw it back in the "new" crown once taken off the "old" crown...I did all well and then i found out that the stem/stem extender wasn't straight so i tried to make it straight and then broke it...this things are very delicate...and I am not so... that is the story... now I have to find a new stem and stem extender...I'll see if ubi comes with one...or I'll do the google search...

Mods that have been done : 127 - AR crystal from Davidsen, canon pin fix, SL, movement serviced... 217 - canon pin fix, SL, movement serviced... 111H(on strap) - canon pin fixed, SL, jimmyfzu CG, movement serviced... 111H - canon pin fixed, DSN hands, SL, PALP crown (2,1mm), IVORY (off white) COLOR of the font, movement serviced... Hope you enjoy the pics (I have done my best)... All the straps in the pics have been done by myself...

fantasy or not...i like it a lot!...nice watch and great pics & review as always...

tnx for all the comments...much appreciated... i have to get some additional tools (to do them better) and leather to do more of them...like V said, each new strap you make improves a lot the next one that is still to be done...you always learn how to improve those little things that makes each strap perfect...practice,practice,practice - similar to everything in real life!
