  1. Maybe tomorrow you will decide to leave it like it is. If it's "acceptable", don't pay for shipping/repair. Keep your money for a serious MOD project (relume, regulate, etc) at the same time the watchsmith will realign the hands. Anyway, you know now that is NOT a serious issue. Just my two cents.
  2. Corgi, I hear you, and I understand your frustration. I experiment the same when I bought a rep with a swiss 2824 and when a tried to set time right on 9pm after a few days of wearing, I adjust minute hand on 12, but I noticed that the hand hour was NOT align directly on 9, "I just can't believe this ... wtf, they don't know how to install hand correctly? is it so difficult? There's NO QC at all on these rep watch?, etc. ". The day after, I just come down, and I knew that was an EASY fix anyway. One month after, I ordered two other rep Don't forget, even gen have horror story, I red some horror on TZ (with gen, of course), less common, but bad luck can happen with gen too. Screw crown that strip, chrono push button fall and was lost, wait 2 months to order one from XYZ company, or, a swiss ETA 7750 that reset incorrectly (sub dial hand don't reset correctly), etc, etc. To conclude, realign hands it's an easy fix, don't worry.
  3. I agree with steph. I'm in to purchase/try a B&R (SS version), but think that this model will never become a classic and die eventually. BUT, if other watch company start to build square shape watch too, that can be the beginning of a new watch shape design, we never know, and we already have tag monaco, square case, that is a classic, and there's a bunch of tonneau watch case...who knows, time will tell, but I doubt
  4. Agree 100% with The Zigmeister about the need to serviced a mvt, any kind of mechanical mvt, even swiss. It's like a car, if you never made maintenance on a car, change dirty oil, etc. it will eventually fail, and maybe will cost you more due to broken part. If you go with the Asian version, I suggest to send it immediately to The Zigmeister (the best/reputable person I personally know to work on a asian 7750 mvt) to do the overall services on it before something broke. My only concern is (and I ask myself this question), is it easy to find spare supply part for asian mvt in case some part broke? what happen if there's a non-compatible part between Asian and swiss mvt, etc. I will let some expert to comment on that.
  5. To answer your question, at that time, no. I had an Asian 7750 high beat (28k) watch, and it failed on me after just one/two week (rotor won't wind the mvt)... I find them no reliable at all. I just ordered a IWC 3717 with a low beat 21k to transplant a SWISS 7750 in it....I just don't trust Asian 7750 even if it get it full serviced. Swiss mvt already has a great proof of performance/reputation, they are on market since more than 25 years.... so time will tell fo Asian mvt, but right no, Asian mvt has so much flaws, and QC. Just my two cents
  6. That will do a great/cool week-end beater...the readibility of this watch is incredible. The only watch that are like these are SINN 656, 756, but still no rep. Ok, I'll be in Joe for the SS version (without PVD) if you are still welling to sell the SS version.
  7. +1 here, keep me info for the SS version. My concern is about the size, 42mm on my 6 1/4" wrist size, I'm not sure... any wrist shot to give an idea?
  8. I'm just waiting for a another version (and more reliable) of the asian 7750 sec@6 just to purchase these beauty Asian 7750 sec@6 are just a piece of crap. :cc_chinese: really need to return to the drawing table and do better this time.
  9. Time to share mine. Gen speedy moon, double sapphire version, a real beauty
  10. Christmas is sooner this year !!! Just ordered one yesterday night (with a PO at the same time), it will be the 21k BPH version that I'll MOD by The Zigmeister, project will include; Relume, gen day/date wheel, swap with a swiss mvt ordered by a group buy from joe, regulate it, and maybe a croco strap from TWB with the IWC clasp. The double AR from chief is it a must on this watch? or the light AR is sufficient?
  11. FYI, Trusty time reply me on a question, and the problem concern only the 45mm PO, not the 42mm PO.
  12. In rep watch that has iron anti-mag cover, can somebody can confirm that the anti-mag cover is really build with iron, or it is just stainless metal or aluminum? Thanks
  13. ... a rep is a rep, never forget it !
  14. sulone88, your signature.... make me laugh.... so much ...
  15. In Golden Eye, the pearl function was a red blinking light that is a signal for a detonation, the LED light was a CGI, of course. This is why we don't see the pearl. CGI replace it.
  16. You live in USA, right? so how you will bring them at home? Customs will see all of them that are rep, they will confiscate all of your watches remember Midnight Express movie ! anyway, good luck !!!
  17. I use dishes soap, gently brush with an old tooth brush, and let it dry. Do this no more than two times per year.
  18. Resistance is futile btw, I like your avatar, cool
  19. Maybe another one...depend....the mvt version you sell has a glucydur balance wheel and a Nivarox1 hairspring Joe?
  20. That is a good initiative ajoesmith, that demonstrate that you are a conscientious person and want to do things very well. That's appreciated
  21. A parental control !!! that's perfect Now I'll able to read you anywhere !!!
  22. Due to some avatar that is too "explicit or "subjective" consulting this site is not appropriate in a corporate environment. Probably same problem for some that have member of family at home. Please , there's a way to be less "explicit" and be more "family" friendly gentlemen ? The primary subject of this site is about WATCH, no? Thank you for your comprehension.
