Sels...you could fit a credit card in the gap on noob. ARF is subject to QC but a good one is nice.

Guys have you noticed new NF daytonas? They claim it's real 4130 clone with fully working chrono.

Simply their reps are too perfect to be real. I doubt they even send you a potato in a box.

How about movements? I saw some TDs offer spare rolex decorated movements, but can it be possible to get for ex. omega-like or panerai decorated movement?

By the way, do you have any ideas what might be available after chinese new year? Maybe some new TC-grade Sub 16610?

Well my friend owns a rep of 25.000$ Ulysse Nardin watch. It's really cool. It's not 100% accurate copy but it looks pretty decent, not to mention its cool features. He said that once his co-worker asked him about the watch. Of course he supposed that it's a rep, and my friend said that at the beginning. All in all they had a nice chat about the watch and joked that my friend should sell his car to afford this watch. I guess it's 100% ok to state the obvious thing as some watches are insanely expensive and personally I'd never imagine buying one, even if I had milions of dollars.

As for my reps well... no one so far commented or asked me anything. I guess my colleagues are just not so hipped on watches, and for them every watch is just a watch. No matter if it's a rolex, ap or quartz 50$ local jewelers brand. But I don't mind. I'm not flexing on them, nor want any attention. I just like my watches the way they are and enjoy them as I please.

I guess it's no different to some monkey selling a arf SD 43 as gen on chrono website.

If it's 7750 are the chronos working? 

EDIT: Seller states that two chronos are faux. I can't imagine how they broke 7750 to look as 4130... Why? And they fitted it in 13mm case... Ok my mind is blown

I want to buy a watch on ebay and the seller is located in US. I heard that most packages from the US that arrive in my country are taxed by customs office. I'd rather avoid that   But I also heard that packages sent to UK are tax free (ebay says something like that on their website). Is that true?

If I was right and it's safe to ship to UK, maybe someone would be kind and help me with this matter?
I know that duty tax on my purchase is not that high (it's about 30$) But penny saved is penny earned...

Well I think that bitcoin is a bubble which will collapse eventually. Sooner or later. I'd never invest in something that loses 20% and gains 25% within a day... or even worse.

Today I'd like to present to you my new Omega PO:

I bought it from Trusty, who I want to thank again for his great service.

It's really great looking, bezel is perfect, it was a little rough at the beginning but after few turns it's ok. Case is nice, with correct lug width etc. Lume is great, really I've never seen such bright and smooth lume. Marvelous!
Now for the movement. It's ETA 2836-2 (It was described as 2824 but it's ok I guess). However I had some problems with it. After a week of using I was correcting the date and the stem came out. I left it at local watchsmith to fix it, and he said that the watch is kinda late like 5 mins a day. He suggested that the movement needs cleaning. I knew that sometimes ETA mov. used by factories are sloppy or just old, but on QC this watch had +6secs/d which was acceptable. However the watchmaker said that the movement looks nice and new. Nevermind though, he wanted like 250$ for cleaning and re-oiling it so... I guess I'll wait or just dismantle the watch and bring movement only so nobody gets distracted by OMEGA logo  Or maybe someone from here would like to help me with it? Discounts for students are welcome

Pulled it carefully out. I couldn't correct the date, nor wind it. The watch it's not working right now cos I left it in a box today, but the movement continued to work earlier when I practically pulled the stem out. Hope this won't be expensive to fix.

I have a problem with my new rep. After a few days of using I noticed that I set the date one day ahead. So basically I unscrewed the crown, pulled it a little and felt it goes too smoothly. Seems like the stem is loose and I managed to pull it out a little, but pushed it carefully back. How can I fix it? I heard that sometimes it's just loose screw holding the stem. I tried visiting local watchsmith but seems he was out :/ I'm also wondering if he'll be ok with fixing a rep.

I'm thinking about rolex daytona recently. What is your opinion on A7750 with working chronos? I know it's 2,5mm thicker than a gen. My PAM is 14mm and it's already massive not to mention smaller rollie.
To be honest new 13mm daytona made of 904 looks really amazing! I know it has frozen chronos due to 4130 but it's quite slim. What's your opinion on this one? I'd like to hear from someone with 7750 daytona
