I wounder how long You will keep it
-
Thanks for the input! I'm thinking the 45 may be a cool nightclub watch. I wear the 42 Navi to work/everyday. Decisions decisions....
Check up the NEW DIAL version om Puretime watch with !
This one has the RIGHT omega sign on the dial

More news!
Just got this from PT:
Well the actual factory which makes the WM9 i have spoken to only last week.
Myself, i have never had contact with George himself.
Regards
PT
So perhaps there is some hope
-
here is mine V1
the old green sticker was still on the caseback
strange - but helps to identify the watch ...
cheers,
Frank
I asked PT some weeks ago for the WM9 V1,5 and he told that Yours ( Frank !) was THE LAST one and that he could get hold of and that it was just "lucky" to get that watch to You
He had a broken V 1,5 that I bought the loveley bracelet from and the case was bought for "spare parts" of another member!
So perhaps even the WM9 V1,5 is not avaliable any more

Hi!
Found this archive site on WM9
Here You can still some of his watches that he has made!
-
hey that's great! I'll mail him to ask for pics too..
Remember to ask what lenght ( he has three different lenghts!) You want and that it is 21/18 mm

Hi all,
Just got message from Domi. My 3717-01 has had an upgrade and is ready for shipping back to me. This time I got a gen dial, gen hands and gen tube/crown. Can't wait!!!!! So now for the perfect strap...
Who has experience with the black alligator strap from The Watch Boys? Is it good quality? Value for money? I'm thinking of the black croc/white stitch version..
Thnx a lot!
I got two croco straps from TWB and I r´think they are great value
But they look a little bit shiny in the beginning but will get nicer the more You use it!
I got pictures of the actual straps that he got in stock so I could buy the one with the niceest pattern on

Hi all!
Do anyone here know if the click-spring on the Yacht-master is the same as on the GMT- master?
It should be the same or
?
The case is that I want a stronger click-spring on my WM9 Yacht-master that is a little to weak I think!
-
5 minutes ?
OK You are a "pro" at this as You have done that with Your old Euromariner as well
Did it look OK when You look cloose at it?
-
3M polishing pads work best
cheers,
Frank
How long time did that take?
-
Thanks for that tip. my friend.
Any ideas on where I might find a WM9 bezel??
Here:
-
Thanks all for Your support
Collecting replica watches would not be so nice and fun without ALL of You
-
Wanted to show You my nice WM9 V3 sub and WM9 LV sub!
Both have genuine insert but no other mods done.
On one of the bezels the genuine insert fitted perfectly without glue and with the right amount of recessment (AND without having to sand the insert down!
!)
BUT on the other insert ( LV!)( both V3 cases!) the insert had to be glued and was a little bit to little recessed!
But all in all I am more than happy with them!
The V3 sub has the VERY nice WM9 V 1,5 endlinks!
And also a picture of a genuine LV insert compared to WM9 LV insert
Hope You enjoy the pictures!
-
yes - engravings where removed
OK Frank so You bought it WITH the engraved rehaut
?
I asked PT earlier this year ( may!) and he actually could get the WM9 V 1,5 sub BUT ONLY with the engraved rehaut ( that is not so nice
)
But it is perhaps easy to remove
-
hint hint - the WM9 1.5 is still available - i just bought it this summer from PT :
cheers,
Frank
Nice sub indeed
Was Yours WM9 v1,5 without the engraved rehaut ?
-
Hi all!
I just broke my click-spring on my WM9 submariner
Where can I buy a new one or perhaps a stronger( thicker in size!) ?
Will a genuine fit without mods?
-
Looking at his submersible CG in Ti I can only say it's the same exact crappy CG as the SS one, don't know why you'd want one.
Thanks Wolf; I wounder when we will see a nice titanium CG
-
Hi all!
Have anyone here tried DSN:s new titanium crown guard from his latest titanium submesible 25d on a cartel case, pam 177 pam, 040 etc?
It looks quite nice I think for beeing a titanium CG

Yes the retaining ring must be shaved down, the complete Case of mine isnt WM9, it was from Euromariner, this Batch has the Problem with 1 mm to much in Height. I try to shave it a little bit by myself, but the Insert pops out on the Edges
Maybe i have milled down the Insert too much so the Borders are to thin to hold in....
Regards GSmaniac
ALWAYS glue the insert on the replicas ( as BK says!) , but I tried a genuine insert on my WM9 V1,5 and it snaps in without glue BUT You have to sand it down to make it recessed a bit. But I will glue it anyway as You do not want to loose it and use shoeglue NOT superglue
-
Good luck with it, it will be stunning piece
-
clean & crisp, black LV rocks so much !
I´ve build one by myself, but the bloody Datewheel is badly centered and slightly misprinted...im diggin for a better one and helping Hands to install it
Also the Crystalretainer must be shaved down to recess deeply an original WM9 green Insert, maybe some german Cracks see my White Flag ?!
Regards GSmaniac
Does You really have to shave down the retaining ring ? is it not just to shave down the insert ?
In my opinion the black bezel and LV dial looks much better than the standard sub.
On my picture it as a genuine pearl I bought on the bay and a V 1,5 insert.
Regarding the datewheel, I bought a complete movement ( Eta 2836-2) just for the perfect WM9 datewheel and it really makes a huge diffrence
-
-
That REALLY is a nice looking sub
Love the genuine insert and the best endlinks ever made for a replica
-
Is the difference so evident?
I thought the bezel color was accurate enough.
I have the V3 from BK and I think it has the SAME insert as the juverlyroutlet550 or what they are called.
I know as I just got two inserts from JO ! And they look VERY much the same as V3 insert ( exept from the pearl that is from VW9!)!
So I will use the old VW9 V1 insert ( together with a genuine pearl I found on ebay!) that is WAY more accurate than the V3/JO insert in my opinion.
See my pictures of the JO and the genuine ( the top one is the JO insert with a genuine pearl in it !)
And the bottom one is a genuine insert.
See the difference in the minute markers at 12 a clock and 1215 and on the JO insert they are to THIN

Hi all
Do anyone here know if the New pam 111J has a springloaded crown ?
Does the genuine Pam 111 J have a springloaded crown ?
