Uh, no, they aren't. The new pictues just posted are of his rep, not a gen. You might want to take another look ...
YES I was wrong...........jiiiiiiiipppppiiiiiiie!
I hope that we do not have to wait too long to get one!
George said that he can only build 3 LV a day!!!!???
And BK told me that the bracelets was the SAME as the sub V2 (but that was BEFORE he got the cases so lets hope that they are better !) but we can hope that they are better than the V2 ones!
-
George has posted photos of the completed LV plus some other interesting items too including a 7753 project Daytona. Idon't know how to put up pics here but I guess someone will later.
Sorry to say it !
BUT ALL the pictures on his log is from the GENUINE LV ( he use thoose parts to build his LV sub 1 ) NOT the one he has build!!!

Has any of the WM9 sub owners out there switched out there ETA 2678-2 automatic movements for an alternative?
If so what did you use and how did you fare?
2824 2836?
Thank you.
On the WM9 sub v2 case You should use the 2836 movement because the 2824 is the wrong hight ( BK told me that !)
You must have a movementholder for the 2836 movement also!
The LV sub ( from WM9 !) has another case than the V2 sub with the 2678-2 movement.

You ALWAYS finds something to mod with Your subs!!
Thanks for posting it

Panatime has 24mm titanium clasp ( sandblasted finish!
But You can also buy a 24 mm titanium one from DSN but then You have two Panerai logos engraved on it (but that is easy to remove using snadpaper!
In 22 mm DSN has both with and without the engraving on the titanium clasp.
And a 100% titaniumclasp is a MUST if You have a titanium watch!!!!!!!!

Found this one while searching the web; another beauty from my birth year.
Please use for comparison:
On some of the earlier GMT:s the red arrow was smaller so this one on the picture can be a little older than 1972!
-
Not sure who the hands are from, but comparing to gen again over the weekend, they're as spot-on as I've ever seen as well as the CP finish. Exact length of hands and width of lumed area all good. Did well against pic in Special Editions catalog too. Hand stack height was also 1:1 correct. Jus sayin'
Here is a picture of the difference of the two set of hands that You can buy!
The one to the left ( it is ONLY the minute hand that is different, and correct on the dsn !) is a DSN!
You can see the difference in picture P1070001 that has the wrong minute hand andpicture 1070725 that has the right minute hand!

Picked this one up today during my lunch break. Seeing it in person blew me away. It definitely has that extra something quality about it... probably because at one point, I was told, member robertb had owned it and worked his magic on the cg and probably the case as well.
Whatever was done, this is one rep that I would highly recommend to anyone! Quick wristy pic this evening... more pics to follow this weekend.
VERY nice pam You got there!
But I think You need hands ( hour/minutes!) from DSN as he is the ONLY one the most accurat hands ( exept for the lume. as dsn has C3 lume and it should be C1 )for 127 and 217 pams!
-
That was the most beautufyl pam111 I have seen
What AR is it on it?
Is it Little hero movement in it ?

Thank you guys for your opinion.
@docblackrock the reason for this post is that i'm not an epxert and i don't want to spend a lot of
money on a fake.
Carpe Diem

Hi Cats!
I have a GMT with the black bezel like that one and I I pretty shure it is genuine.
Mine is from 1972 ( I also have the 11 72 stamped in the caseback, wich mean that it is made in 1972, I have the original chronometer certificat and that is stamped 1972! )
But It was not that kind of bracelet I think, because mine has the older rivited bracelet!
I love my watch, it is a beauty for shure and I like the BLACK dial more than the pepsi one!!
-
what is next after this t crown?
A relume will be awesome on this model.
greets, a fully modded & vaclumed pam177H owner.
It has hands from DSN that has a good lume and the dial lume is quite nice as well but sure not at all as good as Vaclume or The Zigmeister!
Bur the best choise would be a dial from Little Hero !
It is quit good as it is for the moment, but You never know!!!!

Thanks for the comments.
What if I would be prepared to spend the money for Josh's ultimate 127 ($378) + a few hundred on mods? Would the outcome be a better 127 that DSN's ultimate?
Remember that the Andrew can send You a 127 that is NOT the same as on the pictures!!!!
And I got one of those 378$ 127 that did NOT have a swiss eta AND not saffire crystal ( mineral can break more easyly!9
So my advice is 100% go for Davidsen and ask him to take a picture of the EXACT watch he is going to send to You BEFORE he sends it to You.
-
OK, I'll bite. What happens to the strap after 100m of depth
Very nice watch, though. What case is it (Cartel, DSN, etc)?
Thanks !
It is the cartel case and crownguard and T-48 crown and swiss eta!

I'd go with what BK is telling you. Although a C-2 gasket is technically correct for a 16610/16800 Rolex sub, you have to remember you're dealing with a WM9v1 (which isn't a real Rolex case, but a very good copy) and no one knows more than BK about this particular mod.
Thanks, Ok I will try that then!
-
Hi there!
Can anyone tell me what height of the gasket I shall use for WM9 V1 sub ?
I ask because BK is telling me that I shall use C- gasket ( 2,5 mm !) instead of the C-2 ( 3,0 mm!) because the C-2 one is a little to high???
What is the pros saying here???????

Hi all1
Where can I buy a little bit longer screws than the short standard lenght for my crownguard for a pam 177?
-
I'm about to attempt the removal of one. I was told that one of these was a must. If you do decide to get one, they are available on eBay at a cheaper price, but make sure to also order the larger nylon die set, as you will need them for the 44mm Luminor cases. The large die set is also available on eBay.
Thanks drulee
I have one of thoose and I think that I will make a die that fits the crystal!
Please tell me when You tried Your presstool!!!!

Hi all pam lovers1
Has anyone removed and put back the crystal on a pam 44mm ( any modell with thick saffire crystal! )
I want to remove the AR coating but am a little scared to take away the crystal as it is always a risk of brake the crystal or gasket!!!
So do someone have any advice how to do it ??????
-
I use a cleaner for CERAN-cooking-plates which contains micro-abrasives - it works...!
Thanks a lot for a quick answer!
Did You take of the crystal before You started or did You remove the crystal first?
-
Hi all!
Is there anyone here that know HOW to removed the replica AR coating on a Pam watch ?
And eaven better if anyone has removed the AR WITHOUT removing the crystal!!!!
-
Hi all!
Is it anyone that has a nice and TOBACCOBROWN pam 061 dial to sell to me ?????
-
Well, here is an update to my WM9 Yachtmaster
I managed to trade my genuine vintage style Rolex date wheel (see above, large serif font), for a genuine modern Rolex date wheel!
Here it is installed on my Yachtmaster, keep clicking to expand!
What do you guys think? I am really happy with the results, Domi did a great job installing it, the date is square and centered on every day!
That is a real beauty
How do You put a genuine datewheel into a eta movement?
Doeas it fit without mods ?
Wear it well!
It has the tiny serif edge to the numerals now, a small but significant difference!
Cheers!

Remember that I do not think the titanium bracelet is ALL titanium, only HALF is mad in titanium, the rest is made of steel.
The problem is that the steel is polished, so I took apart all the steel parts and used sandpaper to make it look like titanium and thr result looked very good !!!
I do not think they make thoose titaniumbracelets anymore!
WM9 has updated his site with pics!

Have anyone tried this link today?
It seems as if You can see his latest LV blog but now You can NOT see the pictures!!!!!!!????
