Well, for sure the price is fair because 2892-2 mov is much more expensive, but the 218$ version of Joshua's YM has an ETA 2836-2 mov inside, not an asian one. So I guess from the buyer side it's just an aesthetic matter, if this one is more than 2x closer to gen than the Noob (ETA) one.

Anyone seen this Yachtmaster from Joshua, Eta 2892-2 powered? He says: "Only 200 pcs Made. Slim/Sleek Caseset . Same Thickness as the genuine." It looks pretty good to me, but $528.00 is a weird price for a rep. BTW I've just bought Narikaa's YM, 66GBP and I believe it's the best choice. Cheers

Gen crown + tube won't fit in a rep case, you need a gen case too.

Great review, this beauty is in my wish list.. But shouldn't it be the same of TTK? From TTK's pics, date font and the small sticks (four instead of three) under SWISS MADE are different.

I'm starting to mod my MBW 16610 sub with gen crown + tube, JewelryOutlet Insert, Watchmaterial Pearl, noob dial and strap. I only miss noob dial and bracelet, so I was wondering whose is better for my mod, TTK's noob, Narikaa's nynpho, or Josh's beginmariner? Someone says they are the same wath, someone says they are different.. Thank you

Being a 1:1 copy we could easly replace genuine bezel insert, crown and bracelet, and I guess a gen dial cutting the dial feet (reps dial like noob usually are 1mm smaller then gen dial)

A gen dial is smaller than the rep dials, about 1mm. So you'll need to center it properly and I guess you'll need a datewheel overlay

So, which gen parts would a new MBW 16610 accept, without heavy mods? Bezel: no Insert: yes Crystal: ? Dial:? Bracelet:? crown + tube:?

That could be nice.. Which case works well for a 6542? I'd like to use my gen 1675 and bracelet, but I'm afraid no rep could use them. I've builden a franken DJ, but GMT is still my favourite.. , and it's too bad there are no accurate 1675 GMT's available. Then I've also seen the new Retro Ed GMT Master II from Andrew, what is the difference from the previous one? BTW I'll keep waiting some years more for the "famous" 1:1 Watchmaker9 new gen reps :D
