  1. @ Projectologist: thanks for your great post buddy & a very nice plexi!! I am collecting parts as well, have the same dial from the same maker, same cg from Okabum.

I have a question about the new DSN case set. Since when does DSN sell these and does he have pictures on his website already or do you have pics? I bought a case set from him around 3-4 months ago, but decided to sell it, because I found the lug shape too thin, so I went for a Getat. But the Getat is missing the engravings in between the lugs and overall finish is not as good as DSN.

So, are the thickness of the lugs really improved a lot and better in between lug engravings? In your pic, they do look a lot thicker indeed... Looking forward for some info on this, so that I can buy (if better) a new case set from David.

    Cheers,

    J.

  2. And what do you think of that:

Forgive me for not directly believing that this is a sapphire crystal. I too own a diamond tester like that and have tested hundreds of watches.

And it is known that when you set the electronic bar at 8, that MOST OF THE TIMES even it will bleep and become red when the crystal is just mineral. So concluding, the setting of the tester seems to be set incorrect and should be set on 6 or seven. When it bleeps then and gets a red sign, then sapphire is confirmed. Because these pictures, to me, confirm NOTHING.

  3. there are quite a few good subs. pam243, 199, 252 for example. The 243 has the coolest and toughest bezel & crown guard imo. And has quite good standard lume. The lume on the standard rep 243 is a bit better than the standard rep lume on the 252 for example (tested myself).

  4. Yeah I also got a SA blacksteel like that with a loose bezel.

my watch smith told me that sometimes the fix it by placing a rubber O ring underneath the bezel, causing friction and making it click more tight.

I will try that as well soon with my Avenger Blacksteel..

  5. @ Double T: isn't it something to think about putting your post in a sort of 'sticky' part in the trading zone?

As I see here in this thread, most members who write something here are long time members or vip/platinum, who most likely will not get scammed as easily as newer members with less knowledge about reps.

    Just my 2 cents.. :)
