  1. Very nice collection ,can you share a bit more info on the sub
  2. Nice , shouldn't be too hard to put together
  3. Here you go lads I like the pandas but why they've not used the 7753 and got rid of the sunken Dw makes no sense , especially at that price
  4. What I am not getting is the 52mm 300 is a blank bezel Where Where as Silix has a marked version Also there is no 3 or 9 on the dial , that's what is making me think its smaller overall if they get the Movement description so wrong then they may have got the sizes wrong? Dimension: 52mm x 65mm x 15.5mm Movement: Asian 6497 hand wind movement SO who is willing to take a punt on one for the team?
  5. Finding a dial with be the hard part. You might want to use a 22 from DSN or make a fantasy using 26k sandwich
  6. Wow that is one serious set of watches
  7. I think the combination of quality reps and the debacle surrounding the Brooklyn Bridge Edition just emphasizes what a load of over priced nonsense the panerai Historic range is. Panerai have been seriously creaming it for the last 10+ with that Unitas movement and finally people have woken up to that fact they's be take for a ride . As for the 29 I reckon a lot of people thought it would jump in price , i think the economic climate has prevented that a bit as well
  8. Buggar I thought we might be in luck for an 006/007/007 Apparently "The Pre-A Mare Nostrum. Somewhere in between those 1000 watches came a little less than 400 OP 6501 42 millimeter PAM 006, 007 and 008 Mare Nostrum chronograph watches. When Vendome took-over, 398 Mare Nostrum had been lying unsold in the vaults of the old company. These were altered and re-sold as the Vendome Mare Nostrum and were given a new dial, a new bezel, a new case back and a new strap and buckle. They came, however, in the original pre-Vendome mahogany, and later burl wood box. Its believed that Mare Nostrums should be considered pre-A too which, by the way, makes life a lot easier. Like its pre-A Luminor and Luminor Marina sisters, the Vendome Mare Nostrum has a T-SWISS-T dial. Unlike the 44 pre-A's, however, this specific dial does not at all resemble the pre-Vendome 5218-301/A Mare Nostrum dial. The Vendome dial lay-out is completely different from the older, slate blue design and came in three colours. The blue dialed PAM 006, the white dialed PAM 007 and the black dialed PAM 008, produced only in 1997." 5218-301/A Or The Slytech version Then I found this and I though YES its here albeit in elcheapo form At first glance at this http://www.silix-pri...f37812fmo30p800 I thought ok its got its issues but I dont care , I need a mare Chrono I can wear Alas it is the same 52mm nonsense as the 300 It looks smaller though , what do you think ? Factories please make a 42mm Mare Chrono, Whose with me????
  9. Given the Crown and CG I would guess its one of DSN's newer versions As good as it looks I actually think the CG is too thick and more 177H than 036B
  10. 16610 I'm on my second noob , and wish I had made the effort to go eta , crown a little big but a tight little watch .
  11. Wonderful write up and thank you for a massive effort.
  12. Try Panatime for value or Petercc for quality and possible customised size, he would probably punch an extra hole easily enough. Though deployants can be hit or miss i have a polished type and it fits pretty good
  13. Unique and individual purchase If its good enough for Rolex Its manly enough for me
  14. That's a bit special. Very unusual and quite striking. Great work.
  15. Awesome watch and movement , phenomenal pictures dude , those really are top notch.
  16. duh dp I think it must of been the H its exceptional
  17. I dunno which version it is but a mate of mine got the expensive one from Andrew/trusty and its one of the best reps I have seen quality wise
  18. When you say "Time Bomb" do you mean it may blow up unexpectedly and take your arm off? Will they cause issues at airport security ?
  19. You have to admit there really aint a lot in it . I didn't realise the gen dial was like that though with the flush lume, nice to see.
  20. Sounds like a great day and being called out by the JD is a bit of tale for sure
