  1. btw here is a nice site with nice photos for projects with those dials (if you havent seen it already ) www.vannic.it
  2. I don't remmeber were they came from... both identical to my 118 Pam... Here is a quick photo of the case compared to my gen 118. In person is exactly the same. Might be a Jimmy case but I dont remember. I had it in my parts stuff for a future project and now they come in hand.
  3. Same project going on here... pre-a 2 or 9... 1:1 case and crown - fgd dial - oem a series cg - i will add unitas and caseback and glass... we should all thank fgd for the dial... because without it thi project would have been impossible. i am personally selling my 201/a dial to fund this project
  4. in this photo it shows that it has that 'strap curve' where the strap meets the case that the pre-vs didnt have...
  5. Thanks my friend Hehehehe.. so true so true.. it seems ammo straps mean crooked and uneven holes and stitching
  6. No problem.. i just said it because they don't come up for sale often.. basically i haven't seen any (and NOS!!!) for many months maybe year and at that price. Still if I was you i would remove the pvd from the buckle you already have
  7. he probably pressed 9 instead of 0 when writing the date because it clearely shows 05 on the papers still not a rolex expert but if you find me a rep that looks like this i ll wear it
  8. do it fast because i dont think it will stay there for long
  9. same strap on psti now with ss buckle http://www.network54.com/Forum/353393/thre...+%283_6_9_12%29
  10. My 112 today with my ammo/military strap
  11. I always had in my mind to make a strap like this with the blackened aged leather with heavy patina and the military khaki stitching Anyway.. hope you like it.. I personally love the combo and i can also put it in my 118 as well. wristshots
  12. I am completely ignorant to rolex reps but only by looking this watch I can say it is genuine Probably the gold
  13. Yeap.. when I thought of my second gen I was between a titanium/tobacco 118 or a PVD 005. The 118 was though a great deal plus it is discontinued but I can always get a 005/000 to PVD
  14. Because the original PVD Pre-V Pams were coming with the PAV99 strap as standard which is a tan strap
  15. V

    Pam 0036

The 36 case has markings ON the case (serials etc..) so it will make it wrong for the 177.
  16. I personally try to match case with buckle.. In my 112 let say that since the cg is brushed the buckle can be brushed as well.. In my 118 with the titanium casefor example the polished shinny buckle looks really bad.... but titanium with PVD might look decent.... So polished with PVD for me its a 'no'
  17. i think I need a PVD watch in my collection... Here are some more photos of it:
  18. Dsn is your friend... why don't you ask him?
  19. Thanks guys.. nah the 112 is the king of the heard... just this is my new toy.. have to enjoy it a bit before swiching back to the 112...
  20. Thanks for taking care of my baby.. At least it has been adopted by a good family
  21. Well i was browsing my imageshack photos and found these ones of my PVD 112 rep... I loved this watch.. Pvd and superlume by Mark.. cheap and GREAT.. sold it when I got my gen 112..
