  1. You should see the review of Panerai 212 .. most popular panera model.. OK?
  2. Beautiful watch.. LH dial really makes a difference. Try to find a second hand v cg and you are set
  3. Beautiful collection Since you have a white dial Pam I would say go for the 196/250 I am not very fond of white dial
  4. Don't really like it to be honest...
  5. you are right.. positioning is different.. the watch you show from the back is 99,9% gen.. definately gen cg and unique caseback engraving serials.. movement looks gen too (shine of bridges)
  6. Sorry to burst your bubble but I think both watches have similar thin engraving different to the rep one...
  7. Thanks I think a strap with all yellow stitching will be a bit too bold.. but this with just a bit of decorative yellow stitching works just fine
  8. Thanks guys.. I have another combo that is better than the stitchless Marlboro I think.. This one is a distressed hide in rusty brown.. It has a suede feeling and I guess when it start to patina it will look even more better...!!!
  9. The Ferrari 008 is my only rep at the moment (along with a custom unbranded cali).. I love the design of this watch a lot, it is almost 100% same as the gen (for me THE best rep out there) plus I wouldn't consider getting the gen of it.. so although I have taken the gen path the last years this one stays in my collection for good. I just made a nice new strap for it with my vintage 50's black hide and unique stitching.. Hope you like it. P.S. No I do not drive a Ferrari
  10. Tried another combo today on my 118 which I really like.. It seems that dark brown straps are the best for the tobacco dial Pams.. Enjoy the photos
  11. exactly.. from a first glance I couldn't tell if it is a gen watch or a rep !!!!
  12. Yeap.. as perfect as it can get.. whoever says otherwise is jealous
  13. I dont think 200$ is too much for such a perfect dial
  14. This RepGeek's guy dial is WAY better than DSN'd.. look at the L SWISS L font.. amazing!!! plus i cannot find any flaw on it
  15. jimmy case is wrong for a pre-v (201-202 dials)
  16. Congrats on the catch my friend.. I am not a vintage guy myself but I know to appreciate good projects like VDB's and Clint's
  17. They will probably come only with V straps so you will see them in the forum.. I personally haven't seen them (only some prototypes) but I am definately sure they will be as good as the dials I have some pre-orders for straps and they will be as limited as the dials so you should all keep an eye for them
  18. I am thinking the same as you... I have decided 3 projects are too much for me so off it goes the 201/A dial. Plus there are so many 201/A logo rep watches out there.. I want a PVD as well.. I have the parts to do the pre-a 9 but honestly i do not want to PVD my original A series crown guard. I also have a perfect case so it is easier for me... BUT ...if a nice Pre-V case appears i will choose the 202/A
  19. I know next week a member here will receive his ENGRAVED almost 1:1 26mm GPFMod Dep buckles in sandlasted and brushed finish... They will be the ultimate ones for your vintage projects so I will keep you posted
  20. Well I have The Zigmeisters tritium relume on my cali dial and it is spot on.. Nevertheless.. the colour is amazing accurate for pre-a and to be honest the lume those watches radiate is minimum to 0
