QUARKS... 24x24 White Hermes with black sealant.. 3. CHRONUS 24x24 double stitched grey suede 4. CHRONUS 24x24 White Hermes (all white) 5. WATCHLOVER double stitched Italian leather Tan strap 6. PHOBAND Double stitched Tan Shrunk OEM Cashmere like 7. CHIEFTANG Double Stitched Vintage 50's Italian leather jacket strap
  2. Of course you are right.. My tip was for the floppy lever not the distance from the crown
  3. Well with all those versions coming I doubt they will change the engraving on the Turkish version even if they had time I couldn't agree more with Omni.. Thanks to TwoTone for bringing back the topic to General discussion... And Andrew, of course all our dealers do their efforts but Angus has involved us to the making process of some new watches and that was a step forward
  4. Well I wanted black straps to look vintage and leave a patina.. Although not being tan to darker the colour by time it was not so easy to find the right leather.. Here are my two favourite black 'vintage' straps.. 1. MP rubberised calf waterproof strap. With the water and the wear has now a wrikled very nice texture. Plus this strap has the MOST intense leather smell of all the straps I have. 2. MP1 with vintage leaher from the 50's. Very rare strap I got second hand like new and the more I wear it the better it becomes. Some photos to show you what I mean:
  5. You may not believe it but LOCTITE works... put a bit of Loctite on the hole of the crown guard lever... then immidiately put the pin in (dont let it dry).. Wait a bit to dry (approx 20-30 seconds) but not too much... Then open the lever 1 time every minute... This method makes a small 'crust' of loctite between the pin and the hole without letting them glue with eachother. I did it on my wifes 50 and still a couple of weeks later the lever has stopped being floppy Today I did it in my destro and it is perfect as well
  6. No. And you know why? Because people will continue to buy them even with flaws...
  7. Well what the title says.. Mods is there a reason you have moved it to his section? We cannot post there (only the dealers can) I think Angus posts are very very important because our comments can make a difference to the end production
  8. Excellent read and congrats to Angus for providing all this info... If he continues like this he will have a very big part of the sales pie the next year
  9. I would definately suggest the Mario Paci.. I don't quite like Gregs straps.. Nive leather but as David says they look 'cartoonish'
  10. Thanks Mark... it needed your touch to make it perfect
  11. You are kidding me right?? Davidsen's dial is sooo inaccurate that you mind about the 0,5mm of the hands being short or long????
  12. I won't take this off my wrist this weekend that has just began...
  13. Well these are the three cool black versions... 1. ALL BLACK 2. ICE BANG (better alternative of All black) 3. BLACK MAGIC

    My 6152/1

Great watch Marco.. I really liked the vintage job on the dial
  15. I am travelling in Europe and I always have 2-3 Pams with me... I don't know though many things of flying overseas
  16. Thanks Aaron.. You have to see this and the 003 in flesh to fully understand their beauty
  17. PLUS forgot to add.. that it should be EMBOSSED and not just plain painted on the dial... My B series genuine dial has painted and white colour letters... My 112 H and I series have Embossed lettering and salmon/beige letters...
  18. The biggest flaw is not the font but the colour of the text.... The genuine Panerai H series dials have 'salmon' or 'off-white' colour and not the clear bright white davidsen is using. Well.. I guess there will be a 5th version now? Friend's genuine 111H.. Check the colour:
  19. Well.. what can I say.. I am at :cloud9: When I first started this project I thought that it will never be an accurate version of the genuine destro mainly because the makers did not care to do an accurate lefty crown guard. They haven't done one in their past lefty models and why do it know.. But then the Lefty Submersible came out.. with an incorrect crown guard of course for an H model but with the PERFECT crown guard for my historic B series destro. I had to buy the watch just for the crown guard. The screws were fitted ok in my destro case BUT the lever was too high so it was sent to Finepics to take it care of. Today I got the watch back and what can I say... I am SO SO SO HAPPY.. I have a 99,9% rep from the front. Next move will be to custom made a nice caseback with the right serials and it will be almost 100%... Have I told you that I am very happy?
