Thanks guys for your help..
I am still thinking if I should buy a press (i am not very good in that kind of work) or send the parts to a friend to assemble for me...
Saturday that I did the tour was very sunny and great (check the photo of the Olympic games museum)
I've seen the AAA+ Swiss factory you mention.. They had some strange big signs on the top of the buildings saying AUDEMARS PIGEUT, BREGUET, BREITLING, etc...
THey are declared to be in US because it is there that he has opened his ebay account.
On the glass issue.. Is it harder than rep saphire glass? You mean that mineral glass treated like this can be harder than saphire?
Well. I received a Jimmy fu case and bezel and glass and I want to assemble them.
Do I need a special tool like a crystal presser or something similar? Can be done with conventional tools?
Plus what is the metal thing that comes with the case? Jimmy says : 'The small metal ring is for the crown stern' Where do I put this?
Here are some non-watch related pics of my trip..
To the H.R. GIGER museum (I am a fan):
At the bar:
At the Olympic Games Museum:
And a funny one eating traditional Fondue
Thanks Aaron.. To be honest I didnt liked the AP's.. Don't like the silver subdials on the black dial.. too much contrast (Same as the Panerai.. hate silver subdial Pams)
The 112 is ALWAYS on.. and yes I think I made a great choice for a gen.. Months later and I am still not tired of seeing it as well..
Well.. the Big Bang is the only watch that I really liked as much as my Panerai on my wrist therefore I will get it whatever the flaws are (which are not many)
Angus.. Rose-gold version for me please
Well I have been to watch paradise and back...
At the airport I tried more than 50 high-end watches..
The ONLY ONE I REALLY REALLY liked and I would consider wearing along with my Panerais is the Rose Gold HUBLOT BIG BANG... This watch is just amazing and the rep is very near and close
A very nice Breguet? (don't remember very well) with Tourbillon and sceleton movement.. I watched it running for 5 mins without being able to take my eyes off it.
Some AP's... Tried them but to be honest I liked the Big Bang much better..
And you say Panerais are big
Nice unusual design this Jordi...
URWERK in Platinum... Beautiful
A nice IWC/Mercedes setup
Of course a lot of expensive cars.. This one was worth of photographing more than others
Finally on the way back...
Thanks Usil.. I have already rented a car but I don't know how much I will be able to see with just 2 full days being there...
I will do the lake Geneva and I will also go to Gyueres to see the HR GIGER's museum (I am a fan)
Thanks for the advise
