  1. I couldn't put it better than this Subzero. Kudos to you. There are minor flaws on this piece but to me... as a watch, it looks darn fine.
  2. That will increase the price even more, no? But I agree, there is hi beat with functional regulator like shown on the Chopard.
  3. good eye mate! didn't notice that one This problem doesn't exist on v1 though.
  4. I read somewhere on gen forum, Rolex doesn't cover the warranty on these pieces.
  5. I agree with the point that it's quite impossible to improve tiny minute details. All in all, most important issue that needs to be addressed is the better CF dial for this particular model. Used RG V1 rep with real ceramic bezel is in 650-700USD range at the moment. Definitely that there is at least 2 different versions out there. EDIT: I am not sure about the flag on genuine SS Tuiga. I assume there should be one.
  6. Thanks a lot for your offer. However, at the moment, I am not looking for HBB. I am done with this rep I wish to help you to create even a better version that that v1 "Ultimate".
  7. My SS tuiga doesn't have the flag at the side. The RG version has the flag at the side, appears to have the same caseback as the rep Tuiga SS (v1 ultimate). 141/250 for both RG and SS.
  8. well the ultimate one should be SS based I think. Tuiga SS, take care of weight problem, personally I like the RG one more.
  9. I have a replica watch report book and it definitely has good tips but still certain myths on that book. It's also quite outdated based on today's rep standard. It didn't touch so much issue on Asian 7750 hi beat, often times wrong datefont and missing fine adjuster.
  10. Hehe... so I think... and I think again... Tuiga is still way to go For me personally, on a closed caseback watch, I don't care about movement/rotor shape.
  11. Sorry for being not very clear. I was referring not to the boldness but to the font shape. It looks "thinner" on this engraved improved v2 version. EDIT: Please refer to the "H" on gen too
  12. Congrats on your 2000th post. I agree on the movement to be a low beat to keep the cost low but how much different it is if it's gonna be upgraded to hi beat asian 7750. It's not really a straight swap to ETA7750 frankly on both cases. Even ETA7753 would be wrong for this model too. So you need a modified 7750 just like what The Zigmeister and other members have done. Even a hi beat movement, when chrono is running, minute counter will advance at 57/58th second, again this is a dead giveaway for ALL Asian 7750 hi beat (but not the low beat). Totally agree with you that it's definitely a few step closer to get a more "closer to gen" HBB rep but still lots of room for improvement IMHO.
  13. You are certainly right but as I posted before... even with the non saw tooth, it is still wrong. The gen has the shape just looks like gen ETA7750's rotor.
  14. Ah I see! Thanks for clarifying Pix. So this RG watch was V1 without screw down crown and stickers on rotor. But screws are also black on the movement: This is the 10 and 20 that I was talking about, actually it was fixed on v1.
  15. From what I understand, Watchmark also has this "ultimate" version in 700ish range with ceramic bezel and etc (i.e.: V1).
  16. I would say that it's possible to have it "cheaper". Like V1 lite + aftermarket AR coating. That will make really good price (under 400 usd) or... V1 lite + AR + gen ceramic bezel... This is still about 500 USD. It also seems from the picture that the subdial at 3 o'clock, the 10 and 20 don't line up like first batch HBB. It has been fixed both on my RG version, Tuiga RG and Tuiga SS.
  17. Well... For sure if you are looking for a better one, dial needs to be changed. On the movement side, I would suggest doing a Tuiga version with closed caseback, that will reduce the number of flaws. The area around the screw on the rotor is still wrong. On the gen 7750 it should look like this: I notice this very clearly when holding the gen HBB: rep crystals are too thin. It should slightly be thicker to match the gen. The strap of the first generation is very good, very close to the gen too. The engraving on the rotor is not 100% correct too (the font is too thin/squeezed on the rep). Most importantly is the gold weight can't lie. The engraving on the caseback needs to be improved... It just seems like "unfinished" job with rough parts. Should check the caseback crystal too... It should have sapphire crystal.
  18. Yes, link non chrono with ETA movement. It's really accurate to the gen.
  19. Get over it... As long as you can afford it, it's OK. Don't neglect your other half too... buy them some reps if they don't like you can treat dinner/other stuffs.
  20. Indeed it's a big problem finding the tube. I believe that 703 is a believable crown too. Rolex uses this crown for service replacement. As far as waterproofness is concerned, 703 does the job very well.
  21. Yeah... That's such an unfortunate incident.
  22. Good! That will do the job. You should also say missing regulator on Asian 7750 hi beat for this model.
  23. No problem. Try to ask around jewellers too... They may do it for you too.
  24. I can't remember exactly where... My friend brought me there 3 years ago. He engraved his engagement ring there. (I believe they can work on caseback too because I asked last time).
  25. Hmmm.... Using real name of scammers are allowed now?
