  1. Same problem here. It doesn't work but member's search works like usual.
  2. Hi Laz, Just came across this post today Thanks a lot for your kind words. Hope your crystal will be here anytime soon so that you can have this watch before your holiday. The gen dial will fit without any modification. The position of the feet are the same for Asian 7750 (high and low beat) and ETA7750. The genuine uses Omega caliber which is an equivalent to ETA7750. The He valve is located at 10 o clock just like the genuine, no problem with that. Overall quality of genuine crown and tube is much more superior than the replica's crown and tube. They look pretty similar but still is not 1:1. The omega logo is too big on the rep and the crown teeth are cut in different angle in the rep crown. Yes, these chrono SMP comes from the same source (only for this model), the black bezel one, I am not sure. This replica looks really close to genuine article as compared to other SMP chrono replica watches. The good point about this watch is; it's still fairly priced but you will get a pretty solid watch with Asian 7750 hi beat movement and as a bonus, an appearance which really looks like the gen watch.
  3. Indeed. Most IWC watches are more expensive than lets say a SS Submariner. Just take for example: IWC Ingenieur, list price: 8150 CHF, Rolex Submariner SS: ~7000CHF.
  4. I have been waiting to see this detailed review. Excellent job Glad that you like the watch.
  5. Didn't see this watch during Baselworld, not too sure about availability. Otherwise, it looks OK. I like older Seawolf more.
  6. I am very sure it's a gen watch Good catch! I kinda like a different colour subdials. Interesting watch worth replicating.
  7. If it has to be fairly light, get titanium watches. I would say a PAM will be good. Maybe a 089 for automatic.... If it's too big, get an IWC GST Chrono Ti.
  8. Seen the collection at Baselworld 2008... not really my cup of tea. The reps are (un)fortunately unavailable.
  9. This is the picture with Josh's strap. Fits perfectly on UPO/007
  10. Good observation for the strap. Well, it's an easy fix. Dismantle the buckle and then you can reorder the Omega logo and seamaster. Anyway, it should be inverted too. As reference look here: hxxp://www.ofrei.com/images/ome98850000.jpg
  11. Sorry for the overlook. Yes I did received the strap a week ago. It's really top quality with dust repelling properties. Most importantly, it fits UPO rep pretty nicely. Price is a bit steep but I can assure you, the quality is on par if not better than Cousteau's strap or HBB's strap.
  12. I just bought a Marathon GSAR. It should be here sometimes next week. I have read the review and saw many pictures. It's a good watch I believe. Some complained that the size is too small 42mm (suit my small wrist). If you like big watch and money is not a problem, go for CSAR chrono. It's very solid.
  13. Just carry on with it... You already have the parts. Start with CG modding, gen crown + tube, lugholes drilling then change the crystal to Tropic 39 (clark or gen). Then you can do insert mod too at the same time. Other mods I leave it up to you. If you have gen 93150 bracelet and 585 endlink, you are really almost there to put a genuine 1570 movement
  14. I doubt this is the 41mm Hublot Big Bang. You can tell from the movement and subdial spacings. This is the normal 44mm HBB.
  15. Well... a gen watch with double AR may exhibit this too (I have a Sinn 756 with similar problems). It's either recoat or leave it as it's. By the way, my watches with aftermarket AR coating are holding up well.
  16. The shop is correct.. .Give it a try. Without bargaining, opening price for MBK Rolex is 10000baht.
  17. You can use endlink 580 with bracelet 93150
  18. Nice watches Reminds me of a closed AD on our Brussels GTG. PS: Love that Blancpain.
  19. I am still leaning for SMP. It's a watch for almost all occasions:
  20. and the lume
  21. I just ordered this strap from Josh. Let's see!
  22. I know that it doesn't exist....
  23. Jaws dropping... Better than what Microsoft Research has... Hell yeah, I would say it will feature a "self-healing technology".
  24. talking about piracy... Many venues of them; newsgroup, bittorrent, IRC, direct download, buy it on the (pirated disc) shop, etc. Heck even you can use internal P2P software run on your intranet. You can always find things that you want (movies, softwares, music, porn, games, etc.). EDIT: I do buy original DVDs, SACDs and BluRay disc.. Not software, usually I got them sponsored.
  25. I will go with Kelster's advice Waiting till I got enough money then I will plunge on 5513 project. With 2 sets of gen bracelet (93150 and 7236), I am already halfway there
