This is a 3799, similar to the Carlson 3799 (ceramic doppel with blue dial, white DDWs). The 3786 was 44mm, all doppels after that (along with the doppel Top Gun) have been 46mm ceramic cases. Nice looking stealth watch, too bad for Z&G in the seconds subdial

What about a (postal) money order? Those are funds that are now controlled by the government correct? So that can't be charged back...

Looking to sell a few pieces, and a couple of buyers have expressed their interest in paying via bank wire. I've never used this method to buy or sell anything and was wondering if giving out my bank information (whatever the minimum info is) for a wire transfer is safe? Any help would be appreciated.

Looking for some help on when Panerai started using AR? In the case of the 001B and 004B with the L dials, did those panerai use single AR. I know that for 002D there is an AR coating on the inside of the crystal, but how far does that go back? I figured if a gen dial is going into a build, having it look the best is the way to go. Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

the 44mm 3789 is a std single chrono Top Gun, the 46mm 3799 is a 'doppelchrono' split-second chronograph. the pusher at 10 on this watch allows you to stop one of the chrono hands while the other continues measuring.

I'e had Shure's for the past 5 years with my iPod. I've moved from my orig e2c - to SE210 - and have finally landed on the SE530PTH's. Can't go wrong with these badboys. Nice watch, had a fully modded The Zigmeister and jakub version swiss ETA everything version. Got the gen as a gift If you are going to have it relumed... DO NOT have subdial 12 and 6 hands relumed. The gen only has the hour hands and 12, 3, 6, 9 markers lumed. If you are also looking to have it ARd, find someone who offers one with a blue-ish hue to it. On the gen, you do not see the blue (its clear as crystal!) UNTILL you look at the crystal and see the reflection of some light source (ie. lamp, window, etc). Also, the hour markers (12,3,6,9) are blocks! Their edges are all square like the version 1 dial. The only diff with V1 dial was that these blocks were too thick. The Zigmeister builds up the lume nicely and i never complained when i had the modded piece, but those markers will still be rounded after he mods it. I'm not sure, but i think v2 had the same markers as v1, just thinner. Might be worth while getting v1 dial 3717 and v2 dial on the side and do a marker transplant. You can easily dress up a TAG Monaco, and when no dressing it up, its pretty easy to dress down as it is a sports watch. Even the chrono version looks alright. Lol just offering something different, lol everyone is on the Cartier train

The larger dial of the 3717 takes away from the clutter of a chrono with a marked bezel. Its a clean and classy looking watch, and it fits well on smaller wrists. You will definately not be disappointed.

Swiss ETA 7750 ETA date/day wheels The Zigmeister Relume (hands and bezel) Gen Dial BUT... i need to have the AR done, and i can't find anyone in Toronto who can pop the crystal for me . It has far too much money invested into the piece to send the watch head to Jakub, so i'm stuck at the moment deciding if i should risk send it.

I've seen gen HBB BM with Brushed ceramic and smooth, Brushed w/ teeth, and also polished w/ teeth. It comes down to preference, because there are also BM models with black casebacks or titanium ones, there are more variations of Big Bangs that arent seen on the website.
