you cannot go wrong either way! just don't get it new. save some $$ on a nice used one off paneristi or timezone.. they both hold their value very well but the 111 seems to sell faster and hold better percent of it's value. i personally prefer the sandwich dial as it gives it another dimension. i love my 111i... it's mey second favorite to my 183g. nothing like the genuine quality.
did the mods on this one for my friend
*conversion from 177H to base 176H
*clipped seconds post
*cannon fix
*CG lever tighten mod
*swiss swanneck dagger
*waterproofing
*dial font light staining
*special blend 2-step "c2871" crazylume (tritec c1, tritec c2, noctilumina g8uf, noctilumina g7f) brighter glow than my gen!! accurate font color to my gen.
enjoy
just finished this one up.. converted a 111H to a 112H! basically just had to swap the seconds gear and dial.. also did a cannon upgrade, full lube, crowngaurd lever mod, and "c2" lume job as well
check it out

cheiftang double AR sapphire
check it out!!!
i wanted a vintage looking historic strap for my 183 and i found some super soft old saddle leather and whipped this up
what do you guys think? i wanted something a bit different.
i just have rodone the dial and hands with pure pink superluminova a bit bolder shade, tall cannon upgrade, seconds hand clipped so she can notice it turning better, and the movement is superlumed as well so she can play with it in the dark. i also honed the cannon pin a bit so it is easy to turn the crown to change the time as she loves to mess with the crown but couldn't turn it before. i also ordered her a new case set as this one has stripped lug screws..
the hands are cortebert hands. moljina hands may fit with a bit of crimping and reworking. the dial is unitas. it's a really hard project and takes alot of patience and time. absolutely nothing fits! everything i mean everything needs modded to fit.
