  1. In these harsh economic times I d recommend a safe too, nothing would [censored] me off more than having the hassle of making a claim.
  2. Classic lyric " your the one for me, fatty" not really listened to them/him that lyric is funny tho.
  3. Looking great, maybe using metallic paint and alternating brush directions you could get a geneva stripe effect ?
  4. Still in testing stages, not bought watch yet either. That may hinder my progress slightly.
  5. I ve just dismantled an old watch (my first rep) to get parts to glue to the dummy plate. I just need to order the watch now, I will drill holes in the dummy plate and stick the screw heads to the second plate. Then mask stripes off on the dummy plate and spray it with automotive spray to get geneva stripe effect. Or completely [censored] it all up and be in a very bad mood, either way worth a shot.
  6. Sorry you were injured, hope your recovery is speedy and full.
  7. Coming out soon with new in house movement, pics from Breitling. CHRONOMAT B01
  8. There is another plate underneath the first, plus the rep movement doesnt have the big wheel on it anyway
  9. Congrats Samurai, great review. I m just waiting to see what the dollar does over the next few weeks before I buy, unless I win big at the Aintree races next week
  10. Best make sure the dustbuster is fully charged, and take care sir.
  11. I ve just ordered my first set of tools, Basic but need to see if I can use them before moving on with learning.
  12. Surely we can just dremel lines into the top plate ? And glue on the rest, just my 2 cents.
  13. Thats the closest to correct as can be done I think, very well done.
  14. Very nice, I ve always liked the emergency. Its the james bond gadget theme I think with me
  15. I m close to buying it, just need to work out how to improve the missing gear issue. I m thinking fastening a dummy wheel to the blank first plate, and perhaps drill holes for dummy screw heads to sit in. The small things always bother me.
  16. Well done Larry, and Lance of course.
  17. The pain of wanting one is so great, I need one. Or do I, Yes. No, Maybe.
  18. With a bit of work we could improve this watch ourselves with either transfers (stickers) or trimmed down gears, providing there is enough space between plate and dial. Looks promising then
  19. Yes its bent, is the 15 marker on the bezel a 45 or am I crazy ?
  20. Oh well never mind, if anyone still fancies meeting up let me know.
  21. I ll be up for a pint good sir
