  1. Hey Mick Did you tracking update yet? Mine still hasn't!!
  2. YUp I think it's actally J and up that recieved the new strap deployment system and no grooves in the lugs My Gen Auto's a gen 297L and Gen 296K have no lug grooves. These lugs are spot on! this watch is cosmetically perfect to the gen. Shocking! My be the most accurate non -Franken rep ever produced. Very excited!! I do however expect to need a relume as a lume nit-picker as well as I imagine a lever pin gorilla glue fix
  3. Here's Quality Control pics of my 236 from Josh being sent today. Real Deal girls! Game Changer!!!!!!!!!!!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's Quality Control pics of my 236 from Josh being sent today. Real Deal girls! Josh's peeps from Kowloon sent me pics of my actual watch being checked over before shipment. I thought this new procedure was BS but guess what, it is in fact a game changer Check the Rollerball GC and damn near perfect crown Here's my new watch being probed. Going out today
  4. Thanks Fellas Alot of very good people made this happen, Rex, The Zigmeister, Simon, Jakob , Avitt I am proud to own it and my other FGD pieces but this one is out of this world and actually more rare than most gen Pre-V's lol Simon can tell you all I've been begging him for a 218A dial for ever and that a The Zigmeister titium lumed one landed in my pocket!! WOW
  5. Got my friggen perfect FGD 218A today Perfect Avitt coated Pre-V case set with a perfect LH CG. Avitt even put a nice finish into the bare Lever pin which I love! Perfect The Zigmeister gen Tritium lumed FGD 218A dial T-48 Swiss movement regulated by Rex FGD hands All assembled masterfully by Rex Jakob caseback on the way. Right now I have a Jakob 203A on there OEM-ish Watchboys Black Gator. Have elliot making me a custom Paci wi PVD buckle for it as well but I really like the Black Gator The key words here are Perfect watch with my customary crappy pics! This joins my Perfect The Zigmeister Built 205A from Crockey and my damn near perfect The Zigmeister Built 201A FGD collection is herebye finished!
  6. Here's mine with The Zigmeister Tritium lumed dial, FGD hands, Jakob caseback, V CG, T 48, blah blah blah on Original OEM PAV Kodiak leather used by Panerai for the 205A's made by Paci
  7. Looks perfect to me as is!
  8. Marvelous!! The bronze vintages are the only ones I would own!
  9. Crown is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to close to the case as well. Not a problem for Kbiz and The Zigmeister who can and have machined OEM style tubes but for me it's a problem. You could I suppose double up the crown gasket and use a butthair longer stem but that isn't an ideal solution
  10. Leo Wheel T Crown (new tube would be ideal to move it away from the case) regulation = Gold
  11. I like it The possibliity of running into someone who actually knows what a Mare Nostrun is let alone half the gens, Frankens and super reps we wear are so minute anyway I like the green strap too, but not in the web, a green olive Ammo would be killer
  12. Love it and I see another fan like me of the non coated slightly recessed pin!

  15. Beauty My hands are also on the way to mount on my The Zigmeister built 201a and my work in progress 203a
  16. Yes the whole watch is gen purchesed from Brucie boy at 24seven, but there is no AD in this godawful town of Fresno I now live in Warren. And I am pretty good at rebrushing and polishing so rather than sending it out I figured I'd give it a go Not sure how much of a demand there would be for a slightly used but mint genuine lefty rollerball cg?
  17. Refinished my Genuine 219J CG yesterday! And now on one of my 2 antique brown Gators Refinished my genuine 219J CG yesterday. Though the watch was as new mint when I got it and very very lightly worn be me, the CG came with more of a polished finish with very faint brush strokes in it. I think they call it a nailhead finish? Either that or it was an example of Panerai's sometimes doubious final finishing reputation and the CG never recieved it's proper brushing. In any event, proper or not, it always bothered the sh$t out of me and as an ahole nitpicker I could never enjoy the watch. I have refinished and glue fixed a dozen V and LH CG's to great success but I was afraid to touch the gen because the lever pin in gen's is ever so slightly recessed. NO NOT FLAT AND FLUSH! That is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay wrong for a gen CG and in my mind if you have good eyes a pretty obvious tell. If I read another post comparing a refinished CG to a gen becuase you got the lever pin flat and flush I'm going to scream. So, afraid that I couldn't get the pin back to it's proper slightly recessed position, I asked THE!!! refinishing expert here or on any other forum, Brobert, his opinion on the matter and I decided to give it a try. The CG body turned out perfect with a good 10 minute scotchbrighting. I also ran the lever pin head on a very soft dremel pad with jewelers rough to give it's slighly dull mirror finish a brand ass new showcase gloss mirror finish Now came the scarry part. Getting that damn pin back in to just below the hole line without scratchiing up my work. I pushed the pin into the CG body and then pressed it against a hard flat kitchen coutertop and suprise suprise it must be some kind of magic or the shape of the lever hole but the pin actually reset itself slightly recessed. Maybe a butthair off of where it was but it is definately slightly recessed below the hole Then to further enhance it's new from the factory look I popped on one of my Antique Brown Gators My new favorite watch of the day!
  18. Ordered two sets today! Can't wait they look nice and chubby!
  19. LOL The bezel ding pisses me off too! I paid $1550.00 I got a hell of a deal from a Risti dealer. AD's sell them for $2800ish
  20. LOL The rest of it is gen too. It's a genuine pam 240-296 brother
  21. I woke up this morning and my Gen 240 magically turned into a gen 296! Wow I truely am living a charmed life this summer! I woke up this morning and the Pam fairy had apparently turned my Genuine 240 into a Genuine 296!! Thanks Pam fairy!! Being a good Italian boy really does pay off!! see, magic!! And then this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. I like the Gunny as a temp as all my Paci's are currently in service with my Gen's Also It really does look like Human Skin which is cool and creepy! Since the Gunny's are likely made in the jungles of Thailand or Malysia who knows! I do intend on buying the new Paci Quircibella in Cappacino for this at some point
  23. SHOW US YOUR 201A's!!!!!! Here's my newest and my last built by The Zigmeister FGD 201A built by The Zigmeister Modded DSN pre-V case wholesale outlet pre-V lug screwtubes T 48 crown Jakob caseback The Zigmeister genuine tritium lumed FGD 201a dial and hands Swiss Zig tuned movement V Crown Guard Gunny 95 human skin looking strap!! FGD hands coming soon My cinematographer, Buzz, in the background supervising my shi&ty pics
  24. Thanks All I think I'm going to keep the 219J after all so it can snuggle with my gen 177H None of the trades really dazzle me in retrospect and with all deference to the 312 fans, I am not a fan of the design. I would rather have another gen Rolex as far as in house movements go in that pricerange. (might buy the new sub or upgrade my TT blue sub to the ceramic smurf) The 087 came the closest to making me do the deal but they seem to be a dime a dozen on Risti so should I get the bug I think I can find a good deal on one And the Gen 240 and 297 I own are really the only two automatics that I truely love. Especially with the genuine newstyle Ti bracelet I ordered for the 240 which should be here next week
