  1. Yes me likey!!
  2. Ok good deal boys!! I am sending it off to Speedy tomorrow to get fixed!
  3. Guys I need some advise. I bought a 21J DSSD V3 a while back. Well the movement has crapped out and I need to either part it or repair it. I have a quote from speedy (trusted watchsmith on another forum that I have used before) for $55 including the new movement to fix. My question is should I invest another $55 or just cut my losses? It does have a sapphire and I have noticed that the 21J version no longer come with this. Part or fix?
  4. With the cartel coming out with so many great Panerai's lately and more on the way the question needs to be asked...Are these dealers still relevant? Should they be expected to adjust prices? Not
  5. So nice!!
  6. Email speedy. He is in Chicago. A trusted watchsmith in RG and wristcheck. I have used him many times very good and reasonably priced. speedygwatch@gmail.com
  7. Wow this is right up my ally. I will check this out. Both seasons are on netflix instant watch btw..

  9. Wow!! Stay safe and keep your heads down!!
  10. OH I have done that before. Not my strong suit I must say. I have big clumsy fingers. I can turn a wrench on a car or motorcycle just fine but I have a problem with the small screws in watches. The A21J is a simple movement but I am an oaf when it comes to doing my own watch work. I have decided to buy a movement from Ofrei and send it all off to Speedy. Thanks
  11. Does anything they do makes sense? I am not surprised.
  12. Ok guys I have a DSSD daily beater that is a 21j. It is no longer keeping time accurately and has no reserve. The movement needs to be serviced/regulated or replaced. What should I do? Speedy will do the service for $60. I can buy a new watch for somewhere around $120 I believe. Should I sell it? Part it out? Service it, or replace the movement? Thanks in advance for your opinions.
  13. I am mostly on RG but spend a fair amount of time on this forum. I will say this RWG has a very knowledgeable, experienced base, and the best member parts sales thread. RG has the most active board post wise and the best member watch sales thread. RWI trails on all fronts. Period. I must mention the new site wrist-check as there are some really savvy and knowledgeable guys over there.
  14. I hope this is true. The 187 is by far my favorite watch. I have been through two of these with nothing but problems. The bezel tends to jam and the markers fall off. It is impossible to buy replacement markers from the dealers (I have tried and tried and tried). I have one right now that will need to have a case swap as the bezel is jammed. Maybe I will just sit tight and hope the issues with the case are addressed. I wont however get my hopes up.
  15. Great review. I agree with the OP the crown guards on the rep are definitely bigger.
  16. I have a spare case for precisely that reason. Sadly the only thing it is missing is the pearl holder. I just lost the pearl holder off my keeper watch. Rotten luck. If anyone had another spare case with a pearl holder please let me know. I would be happy to swap some numerals or bezel markers for it.
  17. Ok so the question has been asked before but no answers. So how do we find replacement numerals and markers for the bezel? I know this is a common problem. Someone has to be selling replacement parts?!?!
  18. Drools...very nice. I want me some 7753 goodness...
  19. Wonderful!! Enjoy!!
  20. Damn! Sold out.
  21. It explodes...
  22. Super nice lection Lani!! But I agree you should do a straps thread next then...
  23. I have had this same problem. I would guess that you where still charged as I was but I still lost my VIP status. Admin responded back to me super fast.
  24. Ajoesmith is your answer. He has his own section over at RG.
