Tribal
After I modded My WM9 V2 Sub with a gen Crystal,Tube and Crown and for shure a gen Insert the Datenummbers [censored] me of a bit.... I had a gen Datewheel laying around so I asked my self can it be installed on this tiny movement? The answer is YES So what is need to do...... First you must grind down the gen Datewheel a lot to become it much thinner..... Gen Datewheel Grinded down a lot Ok thats enough.... Here is the WM9 movement include Dial etc.... Now deinstall the Hands, I cover the Dial to avoid damages... After that deinstall the Dial than it looks like this You can see the movement is a Day Date movement like the 2836-2 only much smaller Now the old datewheel must extracted from the movement here it is Here you can see how small the Datewheel on this movement is On this small Area the Datewheel must reglued.... Now the gen Date wheel must glued and alligned on the movement this is not an easy job believe me,it took me some hours to get it right As you can see I marked the middle of the date on the movement holder... This is how it looks good alligned Now all the same way back here is the Dial and Hand installed And now my WM9 has also a gen Datewheel Looks good in my opinion Hope this small Tutorial helps some selfmakers ,good luck

Mickey Padge
Great job! This is the kind of thing I need to do with my WM9 Yachtmaster, although it will be easier with the ETA 2824 I think Cheers!

HauteHippie
Great job Tribal. I don't think I'd have the patience to get it lined up properly. But the results, in the end, are most certainly worth the aggravation! In fact, these things are getting so good that I really don't think it's safe to buy used gens anymore!!
