Gen Datewheel on a WM9 V2 Sub?

After I modded My WM9 V2 Sub with a gen Crystal,Tube and Crown and for shure a gen Insert

the Datenummbers [censored] me of a bit....

I had a gen Datewheel laying around so I asked my self can it be installed on this tiny movement?

The answer is YES ;)

So what is need to do......

First you must grind down the gen Datewheel a lot to become it much thinner.....

Ok thats enough....

Here is the WM9 movement include Dial etc....

Now deinstall the Hands, I cover the Dial to avoid damages...

After that deinstall the Dial than it looks like this

You can see the movement is a Day Date movement like the 2836-2 only much smaller

Now the old datewheel must extracted from the movement

Here you can see how small the Datewheel on this movement is

On this small Area the Datewheel must reglued....

Now the gen Date wheel must glued and alligned on the movement

this is not an easy job believe me,it took me some hours to get it right

As you can see I marked the middle of the date on the movement holder...

Now all the same way back ;)

And now my WM9 has also a gen Datewheel ;)
