freddy333 Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Satur-day (I still think the rose Tudor is the most beautiful diver's watch in the world) Depending on what I end up doing, I may switch over to this for Satur-night

TeeJay Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 The weekend's not over yet guys... ..still time to wear another old beater Damn that's some awesome vintaging (naturally occurring, I assume )
JoJo35 Posted August 16, 2009 Author Report Posted August 16, 2009 Damn that's some awesome vintaging (naturally occurring, I assume ) Thanks TJ! You're right, 100% naturally occuring vintage. This happens to be an all original pointed crown guard 5513 with a gilt underline dial
TeeJay Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 Thanks TJ! You're right, 100% naturally occuring vintage. This happens to be an all original pointed crown guard 5513 with a gilt underline dial You're very welcome, it's a fantastic piece, a perfect balance between 'well used' and 'abused', in that it's clearly had a few knocks, but the case and lugs are still pretty clear Out of curiosity, do you recall what put the scuff on the insert at the 30 position?
arty909 Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 Finished off the weekend wearing this one... Three years old and still running strong. Cheers, Arty
