I have a tressure box full of replicas (all broken) that I have collected while travelling abroad. Recently I was searching for a Speedy moon watch and a friend sent a link to the RWG Speedy Watcheden thread and the rest is history. My Speedy arrived yesterday. It’s an Ultimate Planet Ocean 45mm with Black Bez and 2824-2 movement. Can’t wait for this baby to arrive. I doubt I will post that often as I’m not a watchmaker and my knowledge is limited but it is great to be able to come to a place where I can get quality info and advice. Post us a pic or 2 of your UPO ... most of us here have had ours modded with genuine dial's and more.. the parts are readily available and Pugwash has a "how to" turn your UPO into a 'franken UPO' here are my UPO modded franken's .. with genuine dial, crystal, and crown and tube.. the orange dial has the invisible AR coating from our AR specialist Chief tang ... better than the genuine xtal.. It was OK but my second rep was a Panerai 250 with a 7750 auto movement. This purchase was the one that got me hooked. There is something very special about a automatic as you will see. The only reason I made my first post was to get rid of that pita noob baner. I also thought I would very seldom post, now look they cant shut me up. I hope you stick around because you have found the very best watch community In existence. Let us know what you think about your Omega PO. Particularly impressed with the ss band which I expected would have spacing and kink issues but it is perfectly rounded and very attractive. The Moon Watch has had a lot of positive comment too.
