alligoat Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Pretty cool. And you managed to get a 20mm Nato strap. I've always gotten a chuckle out of the shot of the Bond sub on an 18mm strap (I believe it was a shot from Thunderball).

mkuhl2000 Posted August 29, 2006 Report Posted August 29, 2006 Awesome...I did the exact same thing with mine yesterday, ordered a 20mm strap from a guy on Ebay in Florida for $13.50 delivered and got it Saturday. I was able to get the springbars popped off and put that baby on. I see that the top of the case looks like you stripped it down to a brushed look?...or is it just the way the photo turned out?

kingkitesurf Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 I did the same thing a while back and left it that way. I really like it. Nobody expects the Sub to be on that kind of strap... So I get positive Rolex attention with this... Nobody asks if it's fake... They now ask if it is real...
shimside11 Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 Here's a couple of shots of the Goldfinger watch...
