Do all of our beloved replicas come from two or three factories.? I am a fan of the stainless Rolex models and haven't seen much if any difference in the AirKings I have purchased from three of our favorite dealers. The watches we purchase from our dealers may have all come form different factories of assembly, but the point of origin of individual parts and components may have been sourced from the same vendors... shimside11 Posted September 1, 2006 Report Share Posted September 1, 2006 My guess would be that the factories that make brands like Alpha and Apogaum, kids watches and novelty stuff, are into the rep game as well. There are alot of watches on ebay that look identical to our reps, but have a generic name on them. My favourite is the Alpha PO. As for the high-end stuff that we get, probably only a few have realized that there are freaks like us out there, and are rising to the challenge of meeting the demand. That's quite a risk to take - catering to pissy, demanding clients that are satisfied with nothing but the best.
