Gadgeguy2009 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Hello all, the autowinder on my Planet Ocean does not work. As the fix is in some cases easy, I wanted to pop it open to see what is going on. I easily took the back of the watch off - but I do not know how to take the antimagnetic cover off - so I see nothing (other than that cover). Is that cover screwed it? Or snapped on? Could please anyone tell me what is the best method to remove it? Thank you all!
lanikai Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 it just pops off with a little help..just lift it off with the screw driver or a toothpick
plaifender Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 just pull it off carefully. Use anything you like that won't damage the movement. Plastic tweezers work greaet too!
Gadgeguy2009 Posted February 14, 2010 Author Report Posted February 14, 2010 The crowbar worked - thanks!
Francisco Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 I recommend you not to install this cover again...
cib0rgman Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 I recommend you not to install this cover again... Why not?
Francisco Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Why not? Because it is very easy not to install well the cover and it will touch the rotor. Regards, Francisco
