gplracer Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 I have a 7734 movement in good working order. What is the most inexpensive place to get a decent 7032 case/ Is it Yukiwatch and what kind of price are we talking about?
ubiquitous Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 Unfortunately, Yuki doesn't list prices on their site. However, if you send an email inquiry, they're always quick to respond. Yuki's prices are pretty good, in my opinion. The only issue with these aftermarket 7031/2 cases is the pusher spacing...
gplracer Posted March 2, 2010 Author Report Posted March 2, 2010 Thanks Ubi, I sent them an email. What is wrong with the pusher spacing?
ubiquitous Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 A pic would illustrate this best What do you see?
indyberetta Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Yes, Yuki has the best price on the 7032 cases. They can also sell you the movement markings for Tudor... gplracer Posted March 3, 2010 Author Report Posted March 3, 2010 Is the bottom pusher further from the crown?
gplracer Posted March 3, 2010 Author Report Posted March 3, 2010 Ah... why? of course my 7734 i think has the same thing....
ubiquitous Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Just the way the movement is designed; the reset lever is slightly offset, similar to a V23/V72. BTW, looking at Phong's case, it appears as though his may have the correct spacing...
gplracer Posted March 3, 2010 Author Report Posted March 3, 2010 I take it the gen case is not asymmetrical?
ubiquitous Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 The image I posted in post #4 is genuine. Doesn't get anymore genuine than that...
chiman12 Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 gpl...I used the Yuki 7159 case instead for my Tudor project... Notice the bottom pusher...it's past the 180...more in between the 180-170 tach markings...same as the pic ubi provided. Sure it's stamped 7159, but whose going to know? Its the aesthetics that concerns me... btw...I discovered this by accident. I bought the case for a 7159 project, had a V234 and found out that the pusher spacing was incorrect and the V234 needed a spacer so it fits properly. I had a 7734 handy, dropped it in and it fit perfectly! Thus my change in scope of this project. But now I gotta find 7032 dial and hands. Still waiting on Yuki
ubiquitous Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 Yuki does have excellent communication! Definitely a plaesure to work with!
ciccio Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 Hi Joerg .Thanks !! it was a pleasure make bussiness whit you. I'm building a Tudor Montecarlo 9420 using Yuki case and dial (and original movement and crown) and they are very serious and polite, incredible fast shipping !!
gplracer Posted March 12, 2010 Author Report Posted March 12, 2010 Lani that is beautiful! ChiMan12 you cannot find a dial or hands?
chiman12 Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Lani that is beautiful! ChiMan12 you cannot find a dial or hands? Right now Yuki is out of stock, Terry said that they should have the dial and new hand sets in by the end of March.
marc jacobs Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Compare with yuki and ND 7032 case. They are look very similar, but yuki case a better body and shape.
indyberetta Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 I hope they can correct the dial markers on the 7032 dial as they are to far from the edge. Wishing and hoping!
lhooq Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 Lots of talk about the new Subs and Explorer, but this is rather nice:
