"Paris 26 Gigapixels is a stitching of 2346 single photos showing a very high-resolution panoramic view of the French capital (354159x75570 px). Dive into the image and visit Paris like never before!" I love the concept & hope they will do some more. Here is the website! -> PARIS 26 GIGAPIXELS <- Enough talking, take the tour and you will see. If you know other pictures in the same spirit please share them! Best regards. NORing
This is awsome. What did they shoot this with? [EDIT:2 Canon 5D Mark II (21.1 MP) each with a 300 mm f4.0 with a tele converter in order to get a 600mm /f8.0] When zooming in on people from 200 meters distance and can make out their faces. Incredible. The depth of the picture is awsome. I especially liked the scaffolding workers (working by the green net), how you see them in action. You can almost see what their next step is. To think they have no idea their part of work of art in my opinion is very cool. FYI I ended up in a police raid many years ago in a stripclub somewhere on that picture. Good times;) Thanks for sharing this. I guess I should start wearing clothes at home;)

Pugwash
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this was taken from Tour Montparnasse. Edit: Nope, wrong end of Rue De Rennes. It was Saint Sulpice.
