  1. Sorry it was Mike the naked sailor that wrote that. Me, GI Joe on the other hand would never write anything about laws and regulations;) 10-4
  2. Say it like it is. It's a novelty watch. My "Rolex" was stopped once and I said it was a rep for personal use and sent the pay pal information. No problem in the mail 2 days after. Many watches has been stopped on the way to my door in Norway, but I have always given the pay pal documents. As far as I know there is no rule in Norway to get a replica if it's for personal use? 3. I bought the 40 year old Speyside Finest (60th anniversary) for my father in law on his 60th birthday a couple of weeks ago. He starred at it for hours. I don't think he even remembers what other stuff he got. So I guess I hit homerun there:) http://www.whiskyshop.com/Shop/Detail.aspx?whisky=Speysides-Finest-40-year-old&pid=2659 Usually I go for the Isle og Islay whiskeys my self...I love a rich and smokey bottle of whiskey! Cheers
  4. Patrick Bateman: "I have to return some videotapes" Sydney Fife: "I love you bro Montana" Peter Klaven: "Totally... Totes McGotes" Harry: "Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!"
  5. Thanks. The P.O was a raffleprize back in december on another site (All gen with papers.) We took some sick pictures of the PO movement too, but the pictures needs to be processed before I post them. As I don't have a macrolens for my Pentax K-x we ended up using his D90 40D and a Sigma macrolens. I'll keep putting pictures in this thread after he has stiched the bracket pictures. He told me not to use Photoshop for it as he had someething better for it. I'll get the program and play a little together with him. cheif; yes they might be. we just did up some really fast to see some results from today. I'll work some more with them later
  6. UPDATED with more pics A friend of mine is teaching me to use the camera. Here's some from a photoshoot we had today. My P.O Inside the caseback The beautifull Lemania from my PAM192
  7. Offshore you seek. He will guide you....
  8. haha, that last one was hilarious!
  9. I think they've put in some surprises for the ones that dig in to the material like me. Found this funny detail on the roof of one of the buildings;) NORing EDIT: Sent them a message and here is the response; Hi, Thanks for your comments ! You found the turtle, one of the 10 easter-eggs of the picture ! Regards, Guillaume Tilloux | Kolor Customer Service Guess I need to spend some more time looking at it. I'm too competative!....
  10. This is awsome. What did they shoot this with? [EDIT:2 Canon 5D Mark II (21.1 MP) each with a 300 mm f4.0 with a tele converter in order to get a 600mm /f8.0] When zooming in on people from 200 meters distance and can make out their faces. Incredible. The depth of the picture is awsome. I especially liked the scaffolding workers (working by the green net), how you see them in action. You can almost see what their next step is. To think they have no idea their part of work of art in my opinion is very cool. FYI I ended up in a police raid many years ago in a stripclub somewhere on that picture. Good times;) Thanks for sharing this. I guess I should start wearing clothes at home;)
  11. Makes me think of taking my late grandfathers old pocketwatch to the workbench;)
  12. +1 here. I used to work in HiFi (Audio/Video) retail and it's the same way there. It's funny how things sell more or less in the different regions around the world. For instance when I was in retail, the Germans tended to want all the metal peices showing on a speaker or an amplifier to be silver, the scadinavians wanted them black and the asians wanted them gold. The Scandinavian model just would not sell on the asian market and so on... Then it's the time and the different fashions that changes in cycles. My "mother in law" just changed their wallpaper last year that was long due to be changed. However, this year the exact style is back on the market. Even though it was 30 years since last time. Then it's the fact that one matures. What you would focus on at the age 15 will most likely not be what you will focus on when you're 30. The understanding of lines and designs will be more advanced and most people will more easily see the complexity of a design as they get older. Or just lack of complexity, the simplicity of a design. That's the beauty of having a hobby that evolves with time. What I hate today, I might love tomorrow;) NORing
  13. Have a nice weekend guys;) This one for the day This one for the night NORing
  14. I love it! Period...I will be "touching" your subjects in a couple of months...
  15. Good Luck to everyone involved :victory: "Forums can easily be repaired, friendships are harder to repair" NORing 2010 Haha, I was waiting for that to be mentioned in this thread. Wearing my GEN PO as this is being written, my reponse to your observation is; If you ask thousands of girls to sleep with you, you'll hit jackpot at least 4 times in a row at some point. Damn tired of asking though.......... edit: Both LoS and Lani have been fast in every way, professional in general and a dream to deal with when it comes to the raffles. I think I know a bit about it by now.
  16. Great topic You know you have an addiction when you start flying your 111 around in the dark at the movies, due to the lume. I've missed a whole movie pretending my watch was a starship This also apply to driving. Countless times I've stopped looking at the road while driving due to the damn new watch looking good next to the steering wheel. NORing
  17. I've found that the screw connected to this particular function (easy to see when caseback is open) needs adjusting. I've fixed two just by doing this. I guess it's worth a try ? NORing, Not by any means a watchsmit -rather a watch lover!
  18. The picture clearly display that owners of orange bezel PO's pay to play! I'm safe, for now
  19. Well I gave him instructions on how to be part of the pornindustry in that thread, as the AVN Awards run at the same time as the CES. I had a blast as a VIP pretend porn-producer at the awards some years ago. I think it's actually this weekend. Maybe he's changed his identity and ended up working in that field? NORing
  20. No problem. I do however probably need to wait until I go offshore again on one of the oilrigs, I think that will be more interesting. I can then combine an article with the three lives I live. One onshore at work, one offshore at work and one of the 4 weeks I have off in between I'll start tomorrow and build up an article. I will then contact you with the end result if this sounds ok? I'm starting my ON schedule in a week. I think there are a lot of interesting lives on this forum, so this could be a nice contribution to a newsletter me thinks... NORing
